Our training vehicles have double brakes, and gas pedal on the passenger side for safety and accelerated learning. Our instructors have great communication skills in order to effectively teach students After you obtain your learners permit from California DMV, we will be able to quickly schedule your first driving lesson. Each training session is 2 hours and can be taken at anytime during a week.

Susan is the best driving instructor in bay area. Before taking class from Susan I took few classes from other instructors, whom I discovered via google search and shortlisted them based on their reviews. Back then the name Oxford Driving School somehow did not appear in my search results. Also as of today it does not have many reviews on Google. As a result of this I missed an opportunity to learn from Susan from the beginning.
I would highly highly recommend Susan as she teaches you everything in detail, including factors necessary for being a safe driver as well as the things that you would actually need to do and perform on your behind the wheel DMV test. She took extra efforts to explain everything to me as a newbie and was very patient. She also made me understand all the traffic rules. Highly recommend her!

I failed the California DMV behind the wheel test twice before after taking lesson from a different school. I was desperately searching for instructors and driving schools to pass the test third time otherwise I had to repeat the entire cycle. Then I came across Susan from Oxford, I called Oxford and requested for an availability adhoc within 30 min and Susan was available at that time.
She instructed me in Santa Clara's roads where there are some specific type of roads which I don't find in Palo Alto. She started explaining from basics by showing the way they scoring maneuvers and critical errors happen. Later, we went in the city roads to get familiarize and it was super helpful because I learnt a lot in this lesson. And guess what, the next day I finally passed the test and I am very happy about it. I'll certainly recommend Susan from Oxford if you have your driving test anytime soon.

George was my instructor. I found George's teaching style to be very effective for three reasons. First, he provides clear instructions/feedback while driving (like the fine points of braking, making traffic checks at stops, etc). Second, he taps into his many years of teaching to provide examples of how his past students made specific mistakes during their driving exam. Third, he was professional during my three (2h) lessons with him.
He was punctual and gave sufficient time for me to get experience behind the wheels. In the interest of full disclosure, I did have some difficulty getting tuned to his accent and mannerisms in the beginning. However, in the end, I am glad I took lessons with him. Would highly recommend him as an instructor for new learners!

I got my DL all.because of mr George.he is an excelant teacher.patient, persistant and very punctual. Even.if i repeated a mistake he corrected it and we practiced till.i got it right. His personal.involvement in my success was my driving force.he had made me a safe drive.tjank you sooo.much Mr George and oxford driving school

I had an out-of-state driving license (6 years with a lot of driving in US) but I lost and had to re-take the driving test. George is an excellent teacher (and teacher means more than a driving instructor) and I can say that he manages to add wisdom to my way of approaching driving. I could see he was involved to the last minute in making sure I pass (actually I did in San Jose).
A huge plus: had no problem with getting the hours when I needed them (a few for me just to get familiar with the testing area) and to have the car for testing. As serious as George is while teaching I could glimpse that is a funny person though. I did get a few good laughs. So, George thank you for the experience, I enjoyed it, and thanks for the lessons. I'd recommend you to anybody who wants an honest and useful assessment of their driving skills and to anybody who wants to learn driving. Sorin.
