Bath Beach Driving School

They're so unprofessional. You'd be waiting for months to get a call from Barbara to schedule lessons. If they're understaffed and don't have an instructor available, they should let students know before they sign up for classes. But, no, they just want the money and afterwards will have a complete change of tone and customer service. They also don't want to refund the money even when they can't provide lessons. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you Bath Beach Driving School! It took me a long time to choose a school bc I am a very nervous person and it was really important to find instructors who would be patient with me. They did have a wait for lessons bc of the covid back-up but I decided to wait based on their good yelp reviews. They are SO worth the wait! Everything from signing up for the lessons to passing the road test on my first try was SMOOTH and easy!

The office staff is amazing! Kind and easy to work with. The instructors were beyond amazing! All of my lesson were with Barbra and in just 5 lessons- I gained that confidence I never ever had behind the wheel. The day of my test I had a lesson with Lenny and if it wasn't for that lesson- I might not have passed. I can't recommend this school enough!

If you have to wait for lessons- wait! So worth it! Also have to add- I was able to get my 5-hour course with them and they took care of scheduling my road test. Today I passed my road test. The owner of this school Barbara has outstandable teaching skills about driving. She is a little bit strict but believe this works for our benefits. There is no way not to pass the test after a few lessons with her! Thanks a lot to the instructor Mirsad too. He also loves his job and did his best and helped me to learn how to drive effectively. Receptionists are also nice, especially Destiny is patient and polite on phone. Overall I had a very good experience in Bath Beach Driving school, very professional and caring staff.

I passed my road test on Wednesday! I want to give a HUGE thank you to Lennie! He was my instructor for the majority of my lessons. I booked and intentionally waited an entire month and a half to take my lessons consecutively with him because he wasn't available at the time since he gets booked super fast! He is super kind, very PATIENT, and upbeat.

He is respectful and whenever I made a mistake, he didn't make me feel bad about it because he knew that I was still learning. He literally goes over everything that is on the road test and lets you know what you need to work on. For the lessons, not only did he prepare me for the road test but he also wanted me to get more comfortable just driving on a regular basis.

He gives tips not only for the road test but also for anything that we should be aware of when we start driving. He really wants you to pass! He instills confidence in you. I couldn't have asked for a better driving instructor. For my last lesson before the road test, I had Barbara who was also a great instructor. For my final lesson right before my road test I practiced in a different car than the one I took my previous lessons with but through Barbara's guidance I was still able to pass!

She helped me with parallel parking which I was still a bit rusty on and told me how I should be able to fix it. The front desk were also a great help! They will answer any and all of your questions and they really work with you! I really like the fact that they call you a day before your lesson to remind you the date and time of your scheduled lesson. All in all, this was a very professional driving school and I wouldn't recommend any other place to go to!

I was sitting on the idea of getting a driver's license for years. One day I decided to follow through and found this hidden gem of a place. The good reviews did not disappoint. Staff is professional and they communicate well. The instructors are patient, honest, and knowledgeable. I personally like that they accommodated with my schedule. They also offered pick up & drop offs which was very convenient. I passed my road test with this school after a few classes. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

Barbara and Bobby are great. I was a scared driver but totally got over that fear and passed my test on the first try! Highly recommended!

I just wanna say thank you for teaching me the skills that I needed to pass the road test. My journey started last February and due to covid, bad luck and bad weather, My Road test was earlier today at 10 a.m. and I passed on my first attempt. I want to personally thank Timothy, Lenny and Steve for preparing me and having patience with me in our lessons. Thanks for teaching me this important life skill. I've had the best experience with Bath Beach Driving School. The team is so attentive, organized and kind. All the instructors are A+ but I've had majority of my lessons with Lenny, he also took me to my road test which I passed on my very first try of course. I cannot say enough good things about him, so I will just say he's the ideal driving instructor anyone could hope for, he made the entire experience so easy with his detailed explanation and patience. I highly recommend this School.

Just took my road test today & I passed! I have to say this driving school is amazing and so helpful! The instructors are great! They really care about making sure students understand everything! I took most of my lessons with Anthony and Lenny and they helped me so so much. They're truly amazing people and make you feel really comfortable when driving! I passed my road test today on my first try! Being in NYC, you sort of get used to not having a car and you give yourself excuses on why you don't need one. I'd taken driving lessons before at another location, but Bath Beach driving school really wants their students to succeed at driving. My main motivation was just having more options available (for my career as well as being there for my family).

I took the 10 lesson package (you get 1 extra lesson as well). My instructors were Barbara, Lenny and Anthony. Barbara is really friendly. Lenny is serious and will point out to you your mistakes. Anthony is really chill and chatty and will get you to relax. It's like driving with a really good friend. This is just the beginning for me. Having accomplished this goal, makes me feel really confident that I'll be able to accomplish other goals that I set for myself in life, so a huge "THANK YOU!" to everyone at Bath Beach Driving School!

If it wasn't for Bath Beach Driving School I would not have gotten my license, earned the knowledge as well as confidence in driving. I had an enormous amount of fear and anxiety when it came to driving and I didn't think I would ever get my license. Thank you so much for the care and guidance you have provided.

Awesome staff, awesome school. As an older person trying to obtain my license the instructors were patient with me and filled me with confidence and positive energies. Taking lessons with Bath Beach Driving school was one of the best decisions I made. Choosing Robert as my instructor was definitely the best choice I made. Robert was patient, kind and believed in me and because of that I built a lot of confidence in my driving abilities. He never allowed me to have negative self talk and when I made errors he was. kind about them and just kept teaching me how to fix what I fell short at.

Parking was so easy with Robert. He truly is an asset to this company and if teachers of all areas were half as dedicated and patient as he, no student would ever fail to learn. I passed my test on the first shot and I'm 100% sure that was because Robert was my instructor. A++

Barbara, the owner of this school is very professional and attentive. She will fit you to an instructor that is best for you. She also gave me a mini discount for taking extra highway lessons. I'd rather be extra safe than sorry. I enjoy annoying my current instructor because I find him hilarious, but he also knows how to be very direct with his instruction and makes me feel very comfortable. I will say, if you live in the area, choose this school!

I took my 5 hour class to receive my permit and went on to sign up for lessons. This was the best money I have ever spent!! I was highly nervous about passing my road test but my instructor put my mind at ease with every lesson. She had so much patience and believed in me when I didn't have any faith in myself. I shockingly learned how to park my first lesson. I finally can say I have my drivers license at 35.....finally.
