ABC Driving School

I had completed driving school at other places over the years but never felt like I was ready to drive on my own without the instructor. I didn't have a car and couldn't practice outside the driving lessons. When I completed the adult behind the wheel at ABC driving school, I finally felt confident in my driving. I took my driving test with them as well.

Fast forward a few months, I have my own car and I'm driving all over the city with confidence. I wouldn't have been able to do this without them and I'm very grateful for their great service and training.

I Just moved back to ATX looking for a new career. I choose ABC Driving school to help me get my CDL. The staff was on point and very professional. I won't to give a special shout out to Mr. Reyna Jr. He broke it down to where I was able to pass the test on my first go around and gave me confidence to move forward. You the Man. Much love!

Just did my driving test here today. I was able to schedule for the same day, the staff at the office was friendly and so was the price, compared to the other options. All in all very satisfied.

Honestly, the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. We have an au pair that requires driving lessons. The rules were constantly changed at ABC driving school - first, no permit was required, then the permit was required, Spanish speaking driving instructor required then nope - only English available - side note - there is in fact NO Spanish speaking instructor, as it states on their site, and you now need a Texas learner's permit to take the lessons - even though she's already taken 3 lessons without it. Now, it's required. HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere.

ABC Driving School helped me obtain my CDL. The ladies in the office are super nice and they also helped set me up with everything I needed from the start, with info on where to take my medical exam, to helping set up appointments for the exams at DPS. At the yard, Robert was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on how to operate and handle the commercial vehicle.

If I ever had any questions, he would always point me on the correct way. If I felt like I was having trouble in anything, for example with straight lane backing, I was very comfortable to ask him if he had any tips on how to back the truck without so much struggle. He immediately figured out what I was forgetting to do. Once he instructed me on what I needed to do, I did not have any more problems. I would really recommend anyone to come to ABC Driving school if they wish to obtain a CDL.

I took behind the wheel driving lessons from the ABC driving school at 1st St. They were very flexible with dates and my availability. Ladies in the office were very sweet and answered all my questions. My instructor, Mr. Reyna, was very professional and full of wisdom. My advise to anyone who is learning from Mr. Reyna, just follow his instructions and you will be fine. I also took on road driving test with them and I pass it on my 1st attempt (without any nervousness). Overall very good experience. Highly Recommend.

I scheduled a same day appointment, and there was no wait. The ladies in the office were fantastic and the examiner was prompt and helpful during the practice. The driving test was just as practiced and went smoothly, they even helped me schedule my appointment at the DPS. I would definitely recommend them.

This is by far the best driving school in Austin. The staff at office were very helpful and nice throughout the whole process, from working on your schedule to find you the suitable testing appointment with the DMV. The classes were very affordable in comparison to the commotion. It's worth the money. Trust me, having the CDL gives you the power to chose the employer you want on your terms.

The trainer Robert is amazing, he will work with you based on your style of the learning and tailor the lessons accordingly. He always positive and empowering. He always give you the advice and constructive criticism that helped me pass my test from the first attempt. Best of much for you and God bless!

This is purely from my experience at the Driving School. The people in the office are super sweet and friendly. However, my experience with the instructor was very bad. I had just two classes with the instructor and he became impatient with me. He kept on saying that I wasn't trying hard enough to follow his instructions and was not using my mental strength to be with him on the same ground.

He literally told me that he cannot be calmer than this. At the end of two classes itself, he told me that he is not a therapist and he cannot help me and if I can't get the fear out, I should take a refund. This entire experience left me shaken and I lost confidence in myself. I was given the refund back but no apology. I expected more encouragement and patience if I go to a driving class rather than sowing the seeds of self doubt inside me.

I had a great experience here! I'm an adult who didn't know how to drive. I didn't have anyone to help me learn either. I had tried another driving school only to have the instructor become nervous, and then irritated with me. Not here, my driving instructor at ABC driving school was professional, knowledgeable, calm and focused. He really helped me overcome the anxiety that comes with being new driver.

Not to mention the staff is professional and polite. These people know what they are doing and have been doing it for years. I highly recommend them. Thank you to everyone at ABC driving school!

I sent my two daughters to this school after a refereral from their high school. I like most parents was concerned about the thought of my daughters driving on city streets and highways. The Instructor Larry was very thoughtful and taught my daughters more then I ever could have. My daughters did not learn basics as some other schools offered they learned to be aware drivers and I feel safe riding with them. Thanks and Kudos to ABC Driving. We could not have done it without you.
