Don A. Brock, a high school basketball coach at the Academy of Richmond County, taught the Driver Education Course for several years in the Richmond County School System and for Augusta State University.

In 1992, he founded Brock's Driver Education School, Inc., then located at 1210 Russell Street. At that time, there were only two full time employees, a part-time instructor and one driver education car. Only individual behind-the-wheel instruction was taught. A year later, the school began teaching the Driver Education Certificate Course, the Individual Driving Course, and Individual Lessons.

In 1995 our school relocated to 4053-A Belair Road. Two years later, we hired three additional instructors, one part-time office assistant and added additional cars. We are licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services, and is a member of the DSA of the Americas, Inc. Our emphasis is on teaching our students correct driving habits. Our instructors are second to none in terms of training, enthusiasm, dedication and experience.

Brock's Driver Education Certificate Program

This program consists of 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours behind-the-wheel driving. Under Georgia law, reductions in insurance premiums shall be available to licensed drivers under 25 years of age, if they have a clean driving record, and have successfully completed this course.

Adult Driver Education

Our lessons are set up hourly, or two-hour blocks. You may contract any number of lessons. The lesson begins when the instructor picks you up at home or another convenient location. During the first lesson the instructor will be teaching and evaluating your driving. At the completion of your contracted lessons, the instructor will present a disposition sheet showing your areas of deficiencies, and recommendations.

I mean it got me my license LOL my driving teacher was kinda scary tho he wouldn't be patient with me. I heard all the other ones were good though

I just wanna say Mr. Prince was one of the best instructors I could've asked for. His patience and guidance was among the best and if I could I'd go back and do it again I definitely would. I just want to say thank you to both Mr. Prince and Brock's for this smooth and educating process.

They are quick to take your money for services! Have been trying to get my son into the Driving part but they either cancel or do not call back when they say they will. Very disappointed in spending $425 back in January and still no driving lessons scheduled for my son a month later. Finally got my son scheduled after many office visits and phone calls. I can say he did well and passed the driving portion.

Thankful and grateful for the opportunity to have had my driving lessons taken at Brock's Driver Ed School, it was an extremely pleasant and informative 6 hours. Mr. Brian was very calm, encouraging, informative and focus on teaching safe driving at all times. Didn't imagine learning to drive could be so much fun, especially when you keep putting it on hold and finally decide to take it rather late in life . I would highly recommend trying them out. Got my License last week , thank you Brocks, Keep it up!

As a foreigner who recently moved to the US and never drive before, I had such a great and very beneficial experience with Brock's Driving School. I've signed up for the six hours practical training plus the road test with Mr. Brian Prince. I can't stress enough how extremely PATIENT, UNDERSTANDING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL and POLITE Mr. Prince was.

Just arrived in the USA from a foreign country with minimal information on how getting a driver license in the US. Got this from Google and made a contact. Get a 6 hours road practice + road test. It was super great communication with Brian and patiently listen to my broken English. I got my certificate in 2 weeks and early Jan finally I got my driver license sent to my mailbox. Highly recommended!

I had such a great experience with Brock's driving school. I'm an adult who didn't drive yet and purchased the 6 one hour individual lessons, and I'm so glad I did!. I feel confident I'll get my drivers license now and my instructor Bryan (sp?) was so great! He was very patient, kind and knew his stuff, he explained things to me, listened to what I wanted to work on and always showed up on time and ready to go!. I would highly recommend Brock's to anyone who's looking to learn the rules of the road and get comfortable behind the wheel!.
