Students are taught the skills and knowledge that will prepare them for the required State of Idaho drivers licensing tests. Driving time is very flexible and we will work with you and your schedule. We also provide a local pick-up and drop-off service for the students on their driving time.

Sheri Powell
Owner/instructor
She was involved with the State of Idahos driving school steering committee, setting rules and regulations for commercial driving schools in the State of Idaho. Sheri is proud mother of 4 children; 3 boys, and 1 girl, thats including a set of twins. Sheri enjoys teaching drivers education, and working with the youth. She feels that driving is a life long learned skill, and is important that Rocky Mountain Driving School gives their 110% in teaching these skills to Idahos youth.
Greg Black
Instructor
Greg grew up in Idaho Falls. He graduated from Skyline High School and attended Idaho State University. He received his Master Instructor certification from POST. He recently retired from 27 Years of Law Enforcement. He also has 23 years experience instructing law enforcement officers in emergency vehicle operations.

They are so friendly and easy to work with. Not only do they listen to you, answer non stop questions but they will also go out of their way to make the driving experience memorable and fun for the kids. We can't wait to use these guys again for our other children when they get ready to drive. Thanks again for everything, you guys are amazing!

My daughter took the two week course that they were offering during the summer. She drove four times for half an hour each time. She passed her written exam and I guess driving exam and they gave her the permit. I have her drive so that she can start practicing and she doesn't even know how to back up properly. She doesn't know to look in her mirrors or even which way to turn the wheel when backing up.
She doesn't know how to park even in an empty parking lot. What a big waste of time and money. I asked her if her instructor ever taught her and she said no and that he's only been an instructor for less than a month. Don't waste your money or time on something like this specially when now we have to start all over and teach her everything! Worst experience of our lives! We have had two other kids go through drivers ed and never imagined that they would just pass someone through the class for the sake of passing them!
