Express Driving School

For a while I had been putting off getting my drivers license. Friends & family tried to help me, but I got too nervous. I decided look up some good local hands on driver training to get me prepared for my behind the wheel test. I came across "Express Driving School" and signed up for some lessons. Doreen was my instructor and was always one time for our appointment.

She made me feel really comfortable with driving, and after to two days of 2-hour driving sessions with her and took my behind the wheel and got my driving license a few days ago. Totally with the price and Doreen is an excellent driving instructor. I'm 28 years old, Express Driving School definitely helped me, and got me over my fear of failing at driving.

I had the pleasure of getting Doreen as my instructor. Aside from the usual business of her patiently turning me into a great driver, Doreen was very friendly and made the journey to getting my license a breeze. She made learning easy by pointing out what I should improve and giving great tips. Doreen made me feel like more than just another student and I'm thankful I got paired with her because now I am a licensed driver! I highly recommend express driving school! If I could give it more stars I would.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to learn or practice driving. My instructor Joe was super helpful and patient with me with each of my lessons and took his time explaining everything and make sure I was confident and ready to pass which I did. If possible, definitely ask for Joe since he's a great instructor.

Let me begin by saying that Joe is an amazing instructor. Extremely patient, and he goes out of his way to help you become a better driver. He is punctual, picks you up ahead of time, and he's really friendly. It took me a while to get the hang of the roads here, and he guided me every step of the way!
Doreen is also great to talk to. I had called a bunch of driving schools here, and she was the only one who was patient, and kind to talk to. This school is exceptional!

My instructor Joe is an amazing! He is friendly, very kind and helpful. I felt comfortable that he contact me before the lesson. Even English is not my first language, he provided clear instruction. Also the school staff is great too. I only contact them by e-mail. It's quick response and kind. I recommended my classmates already. I'm very satisfied. I want to say Thank you again!

I had a lot of fear of driving after our car crash but joe was always really patient and super nice he makes you feel really comfortable while driving make sure you schedule you're appt and request joe he is one of the best instructors i pass my driving test on the first try thank you

I can not say enough great things about Doreen and her driving school! I was a very nervous learner/ driver and Doreen had the patience of a saint with me. I had been fighting the fear for years and finally after lessons with Doreen I passed my test first time. She is a wonderful teacher and even more wonderful person. I can not recommend her enough. She is very flexible and very reliable.

Doreen is honestly the best... I took back to back courses simply because 1. I had no one to practice with and 2. I don't have a car so I took the risk with 3 days back to back course then took my road test on the 4th day. Doreen is very blunt and honest and she will tell you wether you can pass the test or not. I had some driving experience before but I needed that help still and I can say Doreen made me feel comfortable and confident with everything. Doreen, if you personally see this.. thank you for everything you've done for me as an instructor but also for being down to earth with me and those beautiful words you've said to me. I passed my road test today and I can say it's all because of Doreen for giving me the support, confidence and extra information I needed to know.

My daughter was starting to drive and I wanted her to get more experience before taking her test. My friend recommended me to Doreen. She did an excellent job with assisting my daughter and made her feel very comfortable while driving. She offered to take my daughter to go get her DL and guess what? She passed on her first try. I would recommend her to all of my friends. Also she was flexible in her schedule. Thank you again!

I had already gotten my license three years ago, but didn't get to drive much after that because home is in LA, but I go to school down here. Because of that, I felt really nervous about driving again, but I now live off campus so I want to be able to get around. I found Express Driving School from Yelp. After filling out its Google form, I got a response from the staff within a day.

Joe was my instructor for all 3 lessons and he's the best!

We tailored my lessons to what I needed the most practice with: parking, freeway, and night driving (both in local areas and on the freeway). Joe always arrived early and prepared. He also had very clear visual aids for explanations like merging on to the freeway ramp, making a U-turn, etc. Joe is calm, patient, and reliable, and most likely the best driving instructor you'll ever have!

As a student, my schedule can be unpredictable sometimes, but Express Driving School has always been very understanding and flexible in rescheduling my lesson. Communication with Express was mostly done via email (though there is a reminder call the day before a lesson). As such, it was very easy for me to reschedule/confirm appointments. Thanks so much!

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to driving (always lived outside the US), so I was looking for a driving school that would make me feel comfortable on the road and ofc help me get that license! I signed up for the 6hr lessons + DMV test after reading all the reviews here on Yelp. I made an appointment through email and got instructor Joe, who was very chill, relaxed, and friendly, while still being able to give me tips on what I needed to improve.

We went over things like lane changing, turns, parking, speed, freeways and highways and he gave great advice on what to expect during the actual DMV test (something I was nervous about). After our first lesson I was already way more confident in my driving skills! Last week we did the behind the wheel driving test and I passed! Feels pretty good considering I'm 7 months pregnant and never really driven before lol.

Thanks again to Joe as I really don't think I would have passed if not for everything he taught me. If you're looking for a driving school I highly recommend booking your lessons here, the experience was great and you won't regret it!

I would highly recommend Howie. He is a very knowledgeable and experienced instructor. 10/10 experience. If your looking for an excellent driving school, choose Express Driving School and request Howie as your instructor.

If you're looking for a really good driving school, you should not look anywhere and go here. I was really scared to drive but Howie did great at teaching me everything to get my license. He is very patient and very calm that made me comfortable learning. After my 6 hours of driving with him i passed my behind the wheel exam. Would highly recommend

My driving instructor Howie was great! After just three lessons he taught me how to drive and pass my behind the wheel test! Everything that was taught to me I used during the real test and passed on my first try. Howie was calm and cool all three lessons and I wasn't afraid to mess up because I know he would just help me. Would recommend this school to everyone trying to learn how to drive before their test.

I had a great driving experience. Howie was my driving instructor and ever since he started training me, I have improved on my driving and I feel so much more comfortable at the wheel. Highly recommend!

Howie is an extremely patient and helpful driving instructor. If you have any questions or need clarification, he is always willing to repeat and/or go more in-depth with whatever topic you ask. Passed my behind-the-wheel exam first time. Highly recommend this driving school!

Would of never got my license if it wasn't for Express Driving School and Howie! Howie was so kind and patient with me. I'm a first time driver, and Howie made me feel comfortable and capable. Had an AMAZING experience at this driving school! Had Joe as my instructor and he was the best! This was my first time driving and he was very patient and calm when teaching me. He made me feel comfortable driving and was helpful in answering all my questions. The thing was, I had the road test scheduled the very next week but hadn't made any further appointments with the school.

And it was my first time driving.so we were both not sure if I could pass in just a week and two days of practicing. So first off, he helped me out by adjusting his own schedule to get my lessons in before the test. He made sure I was fully prepared for the test and I made sure to practice often. Final results, I passed! With just a week and two days of driving, I got my license! Couldn't really believe it, because I made a few mistakes and got nervous during the test, but I passed and I thank Joe for that. Thank you!

I had a great time with my instructor, he is a great and friendly person. Hawie is really knowledgeable about the ins and out of behind the wheels, he also Work with me when I had to go back a second time for my license, Being around him make me feel like I've known him forever. I will recommend this school any day keep up the great job

I really want to thank Howie for being a patient and informative instructor. I was really nervous about driving beforehand but he made everything easy to understand and now I am much more confident! For instance, I was struggling with parking and he told me a few tips that really helped! I strongly recommend Howie.

This is an awesome driving school and was totally worth it! I just passed my behind the wheel test on the first time Friday. The driving instructor, Frank, was patient during each lesson and explained everything I needed to be a safe driver. I definitely recommend this school. Its DMV approved, affordable, and very helpful.
