Many comedy-style driving schools claim to be the funniest, or taught by professional comedians. We actually are. Our head instructor, Jay LaFarr, is a professional touring comedian, who has been voted the top defensive driving instructor by the readers of the SA Current and was the 2009 "Funniest person in South Texas". Our other instructors regularly appear at the LOL Comedy club, the River Center comedy club, and this past year have performed as far north as Anchorage Alaska, and as far south as Mazatlan in Mexico, and everywhere in between.Our instructors are all TEA certified, and your certificate will be accepted by any Texas court.

Report
Our instructors make learning fun. No wonder they have been voted Top Defensive Driving/TABC instructors in San Antonio, and won Funniest Comedian in South Texas. Motor Mirth Defensive Driving also offers on site TABC certification classes for our Bar, Restaurant, and Hospitality friends. We require a 7 student minimum, and 3-5 days prior notice to set it up. Cost per student is $20. We will do the class at whatever time is most convenient for you and your employees, whether Six AM or midnight.
Defensive Driving
Report
Our defensive driving classes start at 10:00AM and end at 4:00PM and follow all state laws. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out required paperwork. Our class provides a lunch break, included in the price of your class you will receive free pizza and coffee, and we take short breaks during the course.
