Such a great school great teachers! Loved Lisa and Marcia best instructors. Took the drivers package and passed my exam!!!!

Lots of poor reviews but they are dated. Our recent experience 2021/2022 has been wonderful. We actually left another driving school after the classroom instruction was completed because we couldn't get any drive time. After 2 months of trying to make appointments online for two kids and getting nothing with the other company, even after calling, we transferred to Mr. K's.

They took care of everything involved in the transfer and they each had their first on the road lesson that week! They each finished 10 lessons within 12 weeks and their last two lessons were scheduled for brush-ups before their road test. Marcia took care of all the scheduling; she worked wonders with scheduling both kids between school, sports and jobs, and my kids loved the instructors (Mark and Lisa especially).

I was both impressed and grateful. I feel comfortable driving with them (never thought I'd say that!) and they passed their road tests with flying colors. Would highly recommend.

Call for some information & the woman who picked up the phone was very rude. She had little to no patience. This made me not want to go here.

I'm surprised they are still in business. I wish we would've looked at the reviews before signing up with them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! the lack of professionalism at this establishment is unbelievable to say the least. We sent our young driver here and he had a horrible experience driving with an instructor. The instructor harassed him and was incredibly rude.

When I called to make a complaint we learned that the instructor lied and stated that our young driver was supposedly falling asleep at the wheel and that he told the instructor that he didn't sleep well which is a blatant lie to cover his own ass because he knew what he did was wrong and that we would be complaining. The owner quickly defended his staff and was incredibly rude during the complaint.

This place needs to be shut down because instead of teaching young drivers they are putting people at risk by harassing these kids while they are behind the wheel. BUYER BEWARE. This place is not a safe place for your children to learn to drive, they will return with more reservations and anxiety about driving than what they left with! Mr. K is a scam artist and fear monger. Shame, shame, shame on you!

I thought where I sent my son was bad at least they gave him some on the road lessons. You cannot even get an appointment here sopposedly all booked Everytime I log in to check, and they had the nerve to tell me that if my daughter does not complete the road classes by August then i have to pay an additional $100 on top of the $800 I've already paid. Worthless auto school do not waste your time or money.

I would rate negative if I could, but for the purposes of leaving a WARNING, I will settle with the one star. This school is an absolute disgrace and a scam. DO NOT waste your money. The lack of unprofessionalism is disgusting. We were called on the day of to report our address was out of the "pick up" area. After we of course had paid in full. I was then told to drop off at the auto school, and then my child (a minor no less and during school hours) was contacted changing the drop off location yet again.

When we were obviously late due to the miscommunication, the school had the nerve to not only cancel the lesson entirely, but then charge us for a "last minute cancellation, " and then emailed my daughter (not her parents) stating they heard "she quit." Also worth mentioning, the driver who was scheduled from 3-4 for this lesson stated he was only available until 3:40, so the lesson was not worth completing that day. I could go on and on about the lack of professionalism. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT make the mistake I did and trust Mr. K's with your drivers education.

HUGE SCAMMER! I was charged $550 for 12 hours which I had noticed was more than the past charges listed in his receipt book. I did get into a minor accident which he tried charging me $500 to cover as a deductible and would not let me continue my lessons. When I had asked for the money back for the lessons I had not completed he told me no. Over a thousand dollars for 12 hours of lessons I don't think so. Not to mention one the instructors I had was nodding out in the passenger seat during my lesson.

DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL! There are many cancellations and drive times. Also, since completing all required time we have been waiting well over a month for a road test. Finally after receiving an email with a test date we were told our son is not allowed to test. The final response from Dave was "good luck on your own " Very disappointed with this X Haverhill police officer! Also, drive times consisted of instructor doing much texting while supposedly instructing. Do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere.!

If you want to get your license quick and nothing more, go someplace else. Now, if you want to get your license and be a safe driver, attend here! These guys are pros. It can take a little while, but it's worth it!

I would rate no stars if could.but have to give 1 star in order to leave review. Driving instructor never showed up and even claimed to have rang the doorbell. When I spoke to lady who identified herself as owner she had driver bring her to house later in day as if this is confirmation that he was there earlier in the day. "Buyer beware" believe the reviews that are warning you.

My experience is that they do not accept responsibility and are not professional toward customers; the owner would rather come to my home to argue with a customer in defense of a lying employee that never showed up for their scheduled appointment.

Sad to say Mr. K's Auto is NOT someplace I recommend to anyone, ever. We were a return customer for Mr. K's, I had previously sent 3 of my children to Mr. K's under the previous owner and was very pleased with the company, however the company was sold and new management came in. It was by far the most unpleasant experience we have encountered. It took my child over a year to get their license.

There was a lot of information that was not made known to us until the last day of the class. We were informed regarding the limited number of instructors and that they were in the process of hiring staff. Several months in and they still were not staffed appropriately, there were no realistic time frames for teenagers to take classes unless you wanted to pull your child from school to have a road lesson, which I DID just so that they could get the lesson in.

I tried to go to another school and was told I would need a certificate that my child had taken the class time if I did not want to pay for that again. Management refused to provided me with anything to help us get out. I stopped asking for any type of reimbursement as I was told that was not going to happen. There was one excuse after another, multiple emails, phone calls back and forth without any resolution other than we had to bite the bullet and finish with them. Avoid them at all cost.

I have enrolled both my children at Mr. K's and found their prices comparable to other schools. I know that new people purchased this school so most reviews here are from the previous owners. Both my children enjoyed their experience here and felt they got exactly what they needed from the school. They got plenty of hands on training and plenty of drive time.

DO NOT SEND YOUR STUDENT DRIVER HERE. They by NO MEANS offer a flexible schedule. They tell you your child will be able to get 2 lessons a month, but with no availability at any time after 1:00 PM on weekdays (no weekends) for over 1 month and a half that is hardly 2 lessons a month. Management does not return phone calls or emails, he is wildly overwhelmed.

Their website lies when they claim to have 4 instructors. They have 2 driving instructors, one of them very part time (and he's the good one). When calling other local driving schools seeking one that could fulfill the lessons in a reasonable time frame, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ASKED IF WE WERE COMING FROM MR. K's! Even though Mr. Currier admitted to me that they don't disclose a no refund policy he refused to comply with my request for a refund for the remaining driving lessons - so they keep your money but don't offer the services they claim to. Call MV Auto, they don't overbook their classes.

WORST driving school around. If I could give this less than a star I would. If you can, save your money and go somewhere else. The whole appointment scheduling is stupid and unfair. You can only schedule one every 10 days and you have to check the website every single day or else you'll be behind everyone else. The lessons took me over a year to finish as I was busy with school and sports.

As far as the main instructor Mr. Currier goes, he's a jerk. He gave me attitude for not being more available even though it's really not my fault. He gave me so much anxiety when I drove and made me very uncomfortable behind the wheel. Every time I had a lesson with him I dreaded it. It gave me so much unnecessary anxiety and I hated every second of it.

He made fun of me and was a tyrant and made my experience unforgettable. So please take your money somewhere else. I made an account and downloaded this app just to say this so PLEASE DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

My daughter has been going there for over a year now. She completed her class lessons and then when she got her permit started trying to schedule her road ones. No one ever calls us back to schedule stuff. I have left two messages this week alone and my daughter has left two as well. There are never any drivers available and they always have an excuse for why there's an issue.

Now they have stopped calling us back. They would schedule the 4 road lessons she has taken weeks or even over a month apart. At this rate she will never get her license. Waste of money, my other two kids will go else where and I'm looking to see if my daughter can complete lessons elsewhere and that I can get my money back for a service not provided. Very disappointed with this business.

Classes size too big, not enough drivers, can't schedule more than one lesson at a time, and have to wait about 3 weeks between lessons. Drivers meet other drivers to exchange paper work so student is sitting in car at gas station waiting when should be driving. Pay a little more and go elsewhere!

It's been six years since I took this class but the memory of this driving school still sticks with me. The teacher was horrible. Every driving class course is the same and she made it miserable to be part of. She was quick to kick students out of class no matter what (mind you they will also refuse to refund you). Now the driving lessons. I should've sued them for the way they treated me while driving. I'll give you examples from two of my lessons.

One lesson I had the driver had me go on the highway, I was doing fine except when I was getting off. There is always a posted speed limit for 25 mph on the off ramp, but I guarantee absolutely no one obeys this. He slammed on his break, causing the car to almost abruptly stop, luckily no one was behind me otherwise I know someone would've totaled that car.

The worst experience I had, we were in the local Market Basket parking lot and he asked me to back up into a parking space. I was about to turn in when this woman cut me off. The driving instructor SCREAMED at me "ROLL DOWN YOUR WINDOW. ROLL DOWN YOUR WINDOW NOW". I frantically rolled down my window and he proceeds to scream and swear at the lady.

I am so terrified at this point, a 16 year old kid being screamed through, that I couldn't finish the lesson. I told my parents what happened and they called the school and complained. I never wanted him as a driving instructor again. Guess what. THE NEXT TIME THEY PUT WITH THE SAME EXACT GUY. Road Rage + Mean Teachers + Expensive Rates = Mr. K's Driving School Go with MV Auto School, all of my friends and my brother now say the teacher Steve is awesome!

Mr Kay's is about standard as far as tuition goes. My son hasn't started actually driving yet but I have high hopes. They are real flexible about payments once the first $400 is paid to cover the classroom and testing expense THE PLUSES? Well, Kudos for their educational classes. They take the education very seriously and will brook no slack when completing the MA requirement for class time and class work.

My son was spouting rules of the road I hadn't even heard of. They really make the kids aware of the consequences of driving responsibly. Here they do an outstanding job I attended the required 2 hour parent class and was provided an excellent overview of the law, what our rights were as parents and the exposures when our kids get on the road.

They even provided us paperwork to bring home to prepare for the driving test. They were organized and very thorough And a special KUDOS at them for recommending parents getting an insurance umbrella policy for the best protection of parent's autos and homes. This input should be a MUST recommmendation at all required parents' session.
