Over the past 15 years the current owners have purchased several of the areas leading driving schools and merged them into the current name - D&B. Our school has been serving the local community for over 50 years. Our current owner, Daniel Borges, has been in the industry for more than 25 years, and is dedicated to the family legacy of driver education in our area.

I didn't do the classroom portion but I did road lessons with Paula and she was amazing. She always made me feel comfortable and safe when I was driving and when I made a mistake she would help me understand what I did wrong and what the best way to fix it was. Taking the road test was a breeze because she really helped me know what to expect for the test.
I was definitely fully prepared for the test because of her and couldn't have passed without her help. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking to get there license in the area. Don't let the other reviews scare you away!

Do not go through this driving school PLEASE, then drivers ed classes were not helpful, the instructor talked more about his experiences with drinking and driving! Also during the road lessons I had to drive a car with a check engine light, this light had been on for over 3 weeks! Their communication skills also lack, it is rare to see anyone ever answer your emails!

This driving school is the absolute WORST. The drivers ed class was expected- as all are boring and seem like a waste of time. Scheduling drive times were completely impossible, as they would send me notifications for only SOME of the available road lessons I would have to check in multiple times a day just to get lucky. During the road lessons, the instructors were completely rude and were on their phones the entire time, not even giving me any advice other than "slow down" while i was slowing down the car from 1998. Also, we have to pay $50 a lesson to do the same route, for an hour, the instructor being late almost every time, and not even teaching us enough about what we're studying for- the road test. Thankfully, I passed my road test but not because of what the driving school taught me.
Everything I got "wrong" on the road test was because I did the parallel parking, three point turns, and handling the emergency break EXACTLY as the driving school taught me. It clearly wasn't correct. Also, I tried emailing the school MULTIPLE times before my road test for any advice or extra help i could get, and they never replied to me. Overall, do NOT go to this driving school. It's a complete waste of time and money. There are plenty more driving schools in the that MA area that are way better.

This driving school is the worst to go through. If you are even trying to get your license at a reasonable pace ou will be waiting for months to even get one lesson in. They will ignore your emails, and no one is ever in the office when you call. I waited over four months trying to schedule one lesson while following all the steps they provided me with and I got no where eventually having to restart the 3 road lessons I did at a new driving school. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING THROUGH THIS SCHOOL.

I received email replies from the owner but the customer service was so poor and it was clear the response was advocating for other people's business instead of the Borges Driving School. As an entrepreneur, you would expect the owner to advocate for their own business. Instead, he pointed me in a different direction? Either the owner is incompetent or he just does not want to be in business any longer. Either way I am taking my business elsewhere.

The driver's ed classes were decent, but I do not recommend this driving school to any new drivers. I took one road lesson and the instructor refused to let me go under the speed limit (even if I was only 5mph under the speed limit) and the hood of the car was shaking at 50mph. Someone let me go at a turn and I waved "thank you" with one hand while turning with the other because that's the decent thing to do and the instructor not only told me to keep both hands on the wheel, but that I shouldn't have thanked the other driver who gave me a signal to let me go. Not worth your time or money and I'm currently waiting for my permit to expire so I can get better road lessons from a different and better driving school.

D&B instructor spent more time talking about his history (time prison and drunk driving exploits) than teaching me to parallel park. When on road would not give any real instructions and often told me to speed up when I was doing the speed limit. You can not reach them by the phone. Unfortunately, I failed my first road test (taken with them) and they never reached out to help me schedule a new one. I did not find them helpful, I got more help from my grandfather after my road test failure.
