Teen Driver Education

This course sets the foundation for behind-the-wheel drivers training and is in accordance with the guidelines set by the department of education and DMV. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion (OL237) and will be eligible to take the Provisional Instruction permit test at the DMV.

Adult Behind The Wheel

Once you obtain your learners permit from the DMV, call us and we will be happy to set up your first professional driving lesson at your convenience. Each lesson is at minimum 2-hours. We offer free home, school, Bart or work pick-up and return. Lessons are offered Monday thru Saturday (mornings, afternoon, and evenings). If you do not have your permit or you just can't pass the written test, you will be interested in our 2-hour Permit Service class.

Traffic School

If you received a traffic citation in California and choose (with the court's permission) to attend traffic school, our program is for you. Upon completion of the course, we will electronically submit proof of completion to the court.

I had great experience with the Tri-Valley Driving School. The owner, Vince, is terrific in accommodating all my needs. I requested to change the driving instructor after a few lessons with one of his driving couches. Then I drove with BJ for another three lessons. BJ was great in teaching me how to gain better car control and drive defensively. I passed my test without any problems.

I highly recommend this company. Both my kids have had their driver's training (behind the wheel) at Tri-Valley Driving School. I couldn't be more impressed with their customer service and flexibility with scheduling. They were also very helpful with advice on how to deal with the DMV. In addition, my children both learned to drive really well as a result of their lessons. I would recommend Tri-Valley Driving School to any local parents looking for high-quality training for their young drivers.

Today my daughter passed the test and received her license!! Tri-Valley Driving School (TVDS) was instrumental in teaching her good driving habits. They took time to explain in details what areas she needed to work on between appointments. The staff was attentive and helpful with our scheduling needs. About 3 hours prior to an appointment, we received a call notifying us the car had broken down and they needed to reschedule.

They contacted us immediately when the problem arose and worked with us to fit a reschedule into our busy lives. This is my second child to go through TVDS and both passed with flying colors at first try! We have one more to go and will definitely return to TVDS.
