I got a 45 minute lesson at D&D as a brush-up for my road test the next day. The lady at the office was very sweet, and it was easy to schedule my lesson. The instructor was very to-the-point, and gave me really good tips on general driving and parallel parking. Thanks to D&D I was able to pass my road test easily. With their prices being quite lower than other driving schools, I would definitely recommend. Thanks for helping me pass my road test!

You get what you pay for! Cheap price compared to many other places but crappy services as well. Driver's ed classes aren't supposed to be entertaining, yes I get it. But the instructor, David, made you want to pull your hair out. He would ramble on for 5 mins at a time about stories having nothing to do with the lesson at hand. When talking about violations, he told the students "if you make that mistake, you go home and think about how stupid you are.

How dumb it was!" Ummmm, that is not professional or ok to say to anyone, let alone a group of teenagers. Yes, I was present that day when he said it too. It took me alot not to speak up. The woman at the front desk said it was ok to make payments to complete the $675. I didn't ask, she willingly told me I can pay in full or make payments when I signed up so I paid $225 on the first day.

I wanted to feel things out first. Here we were a week into the classes and in front of a class of 10 or more, David pulls out my son's documents and embarrasses him in front of the entire class saying "you can't sign up for lessons because you no have enough money!" I definitely spoke up than! I told him never to embarrass my son like that again because it is rude and I absolutely do have the money so I will bring the check tomorrow.

I emphasized how the woman sitting at the desk 2 feet behind him said I can make payments but never said signing up for the driving portion would be an issue if not paid on first day. So I will bring the check tomorrow since they don't accept cards but I sure did have the money but don't ever dare embarrass my son again. I brought the check the next day and picked his schedule.

A few days later, my son drove 15 minutes out of an hour, than it was another kids turn. They will easily have 3-4 students drive within one hour so you get jipped. Of the 6 hours observation and 12 hours hands on driving, they will only sign you up for 12 hours total. They try explaining that they are making it easier for you to do 2 hours in one.

After the 15 mins of driving lesson, I called and demanded a refund. I had been patient enough. A few words were exchanged but they knew I was not backing down. Got my refund and moving onto somewhere else. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!

Nice place. David and the lady at the front desk were great. David even let me make a pit stop to grab a drink on the way. Cool place, glad I chose them. Also, best price in Boston for road test sponsorship.

Front desk staff have attitude when talking to people, basically yelling, not very conscious about personal space either, not accomodating, not a good experience overall, we only did one class and moved on to another school.

I've taken around 4 classes and have a few more scheduled with Danny and he is very helpful! Everyone is sweet and very affordable prices. The instructor was very patient with me since it was my first time driving. I've learned quite a lot in such a short amount of time. I recommend!

Instructors do not engage and communicate with students. Very sharp and rude corrections given by instructors and lack of actual instructions and information while driving. How can you get mad at me when I don't know even know I'm doing wrong?

Worst driving school ever! The only care about your money and will make you pull over just so they can lecture you. Just to waste your scheduled driving time. I took lessons and drivers ed here and it is a big regret of mine because this school always cuts time out of your time to drive, barley teach you anything and yell at you. During Drivers Ed David just talks about random things instead of actually teaching student about driving on the road. They are better schools please don't waste your time or money here.

They accept last minute sponsorship's, polite, gave advice, cheap, and drove me to road test location. It was a great, fast, and straight forward experience. I passed my road test and the sponsor was so surprised that he congratulated me, that was cool.

Terrible school! They charge an exorbitant amount of money for one test and tell you that everything is covered, when the test fee is never covered. So they are liars from the get-go. Also David is the worse instructor ever. He will yell and lecture you about any small mistake and tell you that you are the worst driver ever. He will intimidate you on the road and goad you into making mistakes if possible.

He will also make dangerous maneuvers, such as stopping you in traffic, just to prove a point. Don't waste your money here. There are better schools in Boston. They will only scam you out of your money.

TERRIBLE! they only care about your money! Stay away. I started to do research for a affordable driving school, and I came across this one I seen the rating but I thought since I'm only going to do the driver ed it wouldn't be that bad. Every time I had to drive 2 hours they would take away 30 min saying it was a rule to take a "break" Secondly David is extremely rude!

First time driving with him every little thing I've done wrong he would tell me to stop and give me a 30 min lecture telling me how I am a bad driver and that I'm stupid. The other driver was good but every time I told him what do I need to work on he will ignore my question or tell me " he can't tell" Finally when I'm done with the driver ed course.

I just wanted to be done with this school, and they had the audacity to take 2 months to give me access just to take my road test. I kept calling them and it would be excuses after excuses after I finally had enough I told them if they don't give me what I asked for I would call the BBB, and the next day and now I can finally take the road test. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Poorly run driving school. Little instruction for driving lessons and disorganized scheduling for road test. Instructor was late and refused to refund the time and the driving instruction felt like more of a quick way for them to make money than meaningful instruction on how to pass the road test. If you already know how to drive and just need a car/sponsor, D & D Auto School meets the bare minimum requirements. If you need actual driving instruction and lessons that will help you pass the road test, I strongly advise that you try another driving school.

To start out with, I have been driving since last summer when my parents taught me. My parents live abroad (but we are American) so I figured I would take some lessons and get my license once I turned 18 now that I am in college. I chose D and D Auto School because they were the cheapest I could find and I am on a college student's budget. My first lesson was with Wei, a week before Winter Break.

I then went abroad to visit my parents over winter break and drove about 30 hours with them as practice before my road test. When I returned to Boston, I went for a driving lesson to see if the instructor thought I was ready. My lesson was with David. Before the lesson, David asked me where I learned to drive. He then proceeded to make comments about how the driving in "my country" (I'm from California) is wrong and whoever taught me, taught me wrong, essentially insulting my parents.

I found his comments to be ignorant and downright racist. I received some terrible advice from him including a remark about how "in the USA, your mirrors don't matter, you only need to look in front of you". I was criticized for following the law in some instances, notably, not changing lanes at his instruction in the MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION.

I took another lesson on the day of the road test. 20 minutes before the test, the instructor went so far as to call me a lousy driver. Way to boost confidence. I ended up passing the test, so I'm grateful for that, but I accredit that more to my prior experience than the instructor. I suppose my personal experience with the school could have been worse but, if I didn't already know how to drive correctly, I would've been turned off completely from driving by my experience. People who don't know how to follow the rules of the road definitely shouldn't be teaching others driving.

Money money money, that's all they care about. "When is the available days to practice driving? "$32!" They don't give you the full amount of time to practice driving. Money is always on their mind so if you're willing to spend over $700 for this bullshit then go ahead. The only cool people there is the driver instructor, Wei he's chill. David is willing to bring up other people personal information as an entertainment for others.

I went to this school and had a positive experience. I had a wonderful instructor named Danny and he taught me everything I know about how to drive safely on the road. I was really scared about driving around the busy streets in Boston, but Danny really knows what he is doing. I took about 10 hours worth of lessons and passed my road test in July on my first try.

He will teach you how to parallel park and drive on high ways, which was nerve wrecking for me. He is very patient and will correct your mistakes on the spot! I think Danny is one of the best driving teachers there and I am so grateful I made the choice to go to this school. It is cash only, and sometimes it was hard to pay for the classes because the receptionist was not always there, but the driving lessons were worth it. I recommend giving this school a try because it worked for me. THANK YOU DANNY!

Terrible driving school. My sister took 1 lesson here just to practice. She had already registered for a road test with another school. D & D Auto actually called the RMV and canceled her test since we told them we used another school for the test (the RMV only requires your permit number to cancel the test)! We found out the day of the road test after reaching the center and upon doing some investigation. Stay away from this school!

All they want is money! They charge more for everything compare to other Chinese driving school. They would tell you to pay for two lessons before road test and just give you one lesson instead. After I passed my road test, I asked the teacher if he can drop me somewhere near RMV or even on the half way back to school. I was shocked by his answer, "10 dollars.

If you take a urber to RMV from school, it costs 10 dollars." I told them to schedule my road tests at watertown, but they didn't give a shit. They just scheduled them at Cambridge. But they do teach you how to pass the test. If you are willing to spend more money on bad service, this driving school is perfect for you.

I had bad experience with Another driving school so I decided to give this school a try. My instructor, Wei Choi Lau is the best! He made me a better driver. Every time I had lesson with him, he always made me practice parallel parking and other parts that I am struggling with. He often give me some suggestions on fixing those mistakes. And today during my road test, two to four hours before the road test starts, he made me practice and get used of the test site so that I will get a feel of the place. I would recommend everyone to go to this school if you want to be a good driver!

Stay away from D&D this shit! I don't wanna point this out, but I'm so angry about this! All they want is MONEY! No responsibly at all!' This is so bad!

This is the worst place ever. They purposely fail you so that you have to go back. Never EVER go. I had asked the teacher to teach me how to parallel park, but rather, they insisted on driving around for the better part of the lesson. This was all before my driving test, too! Terrible place. I hated every moment of it.

STAY AWAY! They illegally use your information to retaliate! So I finally got my refund after threatening to sue them. They actually told me "we are running a business to make money you know?" I was stunned. I mean yes make money but don't rip me off for lessons YOU didn't give. But it gets worse. I booked my road test by myself online. I let them know earlier the date so I can reserve a sponsor.

After that I hadn't gone to the rmv website until recently since my road test was coming up. When I couldn't find my scheduled appointment I called the Rmv directly to ask what happened. The RMV told me someone canceled for me on Nov 5. If I didn't do it, the only other place that has my permit number, name, date of birth, is this driving school.

And would you know? The date of the cancellation? The day I asked for a refund for my lessons. I never told them to cancel my road test. They had no legal right to call and cancel on my behalf. They did this illegally using my information wo my knowledge or consent. Stay away.

My skill was ground zero and now i am pretty comfortable driving around. All thanks to D&D. I had about 10 lessons and just passed my road test today.

thank you teacher tong! I think he is one of the best driving teacher. He told me some many important points and those are all really helpful to get me pass the test. Few tips to make your experience better at this driving school.

You will need to be there in person to make appointment.
Paid in cash. (so, you can't make appointment over the phone) and when you show up for the first appointment set up, bring all the permit and the $$.

I actually already have a driving license, but since I only drove in a car 10 or so times after I got it and then haven't driven or even thought about driving for over a year, I thought that it would be better to get a refresher lesson or two before I subjected the people of Boston to my driving. I had 2 lessons with Kin Sun Lau - the first lesson was 45 minutes long and the second lesson was 1.5 hours (two lessons back to back).

He helped me feel really comfortable and safe behind the wheel from the very start. During the first lesson, we mostly drove around Boston - around the South Boston/Chinatown area. During the second (longer) lesson, I practiced driving on the highway by taking 93 down to Quincy. I also practiced parallel parking - on an empty road AND between two actual cars (!), parking lot parking, and putting in gas (hey! I've never had to before!).

I had a great experience there and would recommend it to all of my friends! Just some basic info: - The lessons are $32 for 45 minutes on weekdays; on weekends, you *have* to sign up for two lessons back to back (i.e. $64 for 1.5 hours) - They only accept cash - You can't schedule appointments over the phone; you have to go down there in person
