Henley's Driving School and all of our instructors are licensed and certified by the State of Ohio Department of Safety. Not only that, most of our instructors are current or former school teachers. Our training vehicles are 2010 Toyota Corollas, the best selling car in automotive history. We chose these vehicles because of their outstanding track record for safety and reliability. Corollas were chosen in 2009 as a "Top Safety Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety - the governmental body responsible for all vehicle safety testing and rating in the United States. We want our students to have an enjoyable, easy to drive vehicle when learning how to drive for the first time. They are dual controlled, meaning the instructor has their own set of brakes, as well as a list of features to give our students and parents confidence and a peace of mind.

I do not recommend Jack Henley as a driving instructor to anybody. He belittled me, screamed at me, made me cry and made me afraid to drive with him when I had to. He has very poor communication skills when it comes to scheduling time to drive and when you are actually driving with him as well. He is very discouraging and makes driving for me frightful. Please do your kids or anyone a favor and find a different instructor, there are no words to describe this place. (I used a fake name)

Hello everyone that has stumbled along this review. I would like to give a detail description of what is is like going thru Henry's driving school as a high school graduate of a couple days ago. First of all, I signed up in November and am just NOW scheduling my last test as of late may. The lack of communication is a big issue but I'm surprised to see not as many people talking about what it is like driving with Jack Henley.
As I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible, I am a decently "experienced" driver id say at this point. I've been driving for 2 years through the harshest storms and snow. However, merging onto the Highway with Henley, (we were going 70 miles per hour) he decides to yank my wheel to another lane. I was astonished and definitely gave him an ear full because how dangerous that situation was.
I could tell that he was not used to a student standing up for themselves and that was concerning. he likes to power trip the students and treat us like we don't know anything. You can tell that after these 18 years he's been doing driving school, he's given up. I can go way further into more incidents or detail for anyone wondering (there's PLEANTY more) but what I'm trying to get at is, please everyone, do not send your child here. (This is a fake name account).

This place is so slow I've been waiting over 4 months to get my in cars scheduled, on top of that, driving with mr. Henley is not fun, he makes you drive 35 in 55s, simply don't go here, not even as a last resort, it's faster just to wait until you're 18. DO NOT GO HERE. Driving with Henley is so bad that he will make you turn the way HE is accustomed to, he will not let you do what's comfortable for you, and it will just mess you up.

Please teach your students how to merge appropriately onto freeways and interstates, and they are not being taught to drive in the right hand lane like they're supposed to unless passing. Often times I see the driver students with their instructor sitting in the left lane. Or inappropriately merging on and off ramps. Which is very dangerous and not safe for others driving. Please teach the students how to drive.

My biggest complaint is the complete lack of communication! I understand that Covid19 interrupted business, but once this place opened back up I had to reach out to the them to schedule my son's in car driving time. I'd call to schedule and he'd say he'd call me back to schedule but he wouldn't return the calls. It was very frustrating and very unprofessional!

My children will NOT attend this driving school when they reach driving age. I live near this place and EVERY SINGLE TIME I get behind one of their student driver cars they are going a minimum of 10mph under the speed limit and slam on the breaks when they get anything over 10 under. I understand safety is important when teaching teenage drivers but inconsiderately slow driving ESPECIALLY during hours that is normal for people to be trying to get to work does NOT EQUAL SAFE DRIVING.
