The classes were way too expensive and in such long chunks (5 hours on a Saturday). Also the behind-the-wheel instructor was always hard to contact. Always busy with another person when I tried to schedule my driving lessons. I was told to call back at a different time and when I did, I was blown off yet again. Due to health problems, I couldn't schedule any driving lessons until I was authorized to drive again.

But now, it's so hard to even get a hold of the instructor. I wish they had a voicemail so I didn't have to get hopeful about finally getting a lesson when the phone was picked up

As everyone else previously said the communication is pretty bad and the actual course instruction itself is frustrating to get through. I took mr. Oide's class through my school's spring driving lesson program, which they outsourced to here. The only reason I give two stars instead of one was that the contents of the classroom course were very comprehensive, if not boring and ramble-y at times.

He has strict rules about 'paying attention' that boarder on overly strict to me. Like 'if you don't arrive within five minutes of class starting or you're caught looking at your phone twice you have to leave the session and schedule taking it again another time.' Which judging on their track history on scheduling I can't imagine is easy.

Those are just some of the rules and it might seem reasonable but there were others as well. The information was pretty good and extensive but frequently went off on weird tangents that have little or nothing to do with what we were talking about. I can see how that might be used to be more engaging but in these instances it was just odd. He also used the shock factor in some of his lessons which, yeah I can see how that would be useful and appropriate in some of them but in others it didn't sit comfortably with me.

I never even got to meet my "Behind the Wheel" instructor which is what prompted me to write a review in the first place. Due to issues with getting the proper documents in order to obtain a driving permit it took a few months after the classroom section of the course for me to try and schedule the driving section, which was not with mr. Oide himself but someone else also working under Accurate Driving LLC.

This is not due to lack of trying, and I think it is indicative of the biggest problem and most complained about aspect on here. Me and my Dad (who payed for the course) tried emailing, texting, and messaging the driving instructor, as well as mr. Oide himself. The responses were either delayed, curt and uninformative, or nothing at all. I never completed even one of the 50 hours required to get a license under the age of 18.

Because of that I had to wait until after my birthday to take the test. We paid for that part of the education and never received it, and due to their strict refund policy we never got any payment back either. It left a bad taste in our mouths. You think that after you pay for something and expect it they would feel an obligation to fulfill their end of the deal but apparently not.

I can forgive the odd class instruction and setup, the refund policy and even some of their communication habits, but the fact that I can't say that i would have been just fine or better off not taking the course, because mr. Oide did teach me some important and valuable stuff that I don't find myself thinking that I could know otherwise, but overall the experience has been more negative than positive. and I can't recommend them to anyone trying to get their driving education. Please take into note that I did my classes in pre-Covid times so what I say in my review is representative of that.

NO communication! No returned emails after multiple attempts over a couple of months. So frustrating! The company number won't even take messages. How are we supposed to get in touch with anyone? My child is already enrolled and I can't even find out when his lessons are. Not worth it.go somewhere else! Update: The owner still hasn't replied to my email.

Now having problems with the behind the wheel instructor who set up a lesson and NEVER replied to confirm. And he's blaming my son for the confusion. Unbelievable! He wouldn't even reply to my text, but as soon as my husband texted, he got an immediate response. I guess you need to be a male to be acknowledged. This owner clearly doesn't care about his business. There are many other great schools I hear, like Koby's and The Wong Way. I wish I had spent my $550 somewhere else! DO NOT waste your money here!

I am pretty frustrated by the lack of communication with this company. I have done my best to be patient but at this point I need to write a review. Signing up was no problem but after the 30 hour instruction class was completed, I had to email multiple times to finally get an email stating how to sign up for behind the wheel instruction. Then, I had to email the BTW instructor multiple times before getting a response which he instructed me to text him.

Then I had to text and email multiple times more to get a text response to finally be scheduled for BTW. Each time we came for the allotted BTW time, he was late (and ended early) and asked to meet in a parking lot under construction. After all BTW and giving the guy our notarized copy of the 50 hours driving log, he said he would mail the certificate. It's been 6 days already and nothing.

He also told us that we should have already received the classroom certificate. No certificate from the classroom portion has been received either. We have emailed three times about the certificates since there is NO phone number to call and talk to a real person. No response yet. I paid a large fee for this class and I expect at least a phone number to call and a person to ask questions.

Someone should open up another driving instruction company to show this company how to have good customer service and communication skills. If you are the owner of accurate driving and are reading this.please call me! I have emailed you! Update: I received an email response, no call. And finally got the classroom certificate that my daughter completed at the end of September. I am still currently waiting for the behind the wheel certificate.

Honestly have not used them, but I would like to since I live close by. This company's outright refusal to take phone messages so that they don't have to talk to you seems shifty and suspicious. Seems like they don't want to talk to you person-to-person over the phone for some odd reason. They instruct you to look at their web site instead.

Any sincere and good business person would gladly have a phone system that takes messages so that they can return calls from prospective customers and answer their questions. I'm not hiring a yard man here, I'm entrusting my teen with you so that they can drive a 3,000 lb vehicle around that can potentially cause death, bodily injury, or property damage.

One star because I can't even get a return phone call in order to ask some questions and speak to you directly before I entrust my teenager with you. Not too much to ask. That's what all the other businesses do. Updated response: I did review the website info before calling. The motive of this review is to inform you that many customers still prefer to talk person-to-person before doing business.

It seemed that this business tries to avoid taking the time to return phone calls, and asserts that you should just go to the website for all the info you may need. Not my style. I still like to have a personal conversation before paying money for a service. Thank you.

My daughter and her friend both took the class at the Kapahulu Location and loved the style of teaching and the instructors who took them behind the wheel to get more experience prior to their driver's test. Both of them turned out to be more responsible and educated about the rules / laws of the road because of ACCURATE DRIVING. Ask any teenager from high schools around here in Honolulu and they will tell you that they love this driving school. It fills up fast. The educators are former Police Officers who make sure the students know the good and ugly parts of what is involved in driving on Oahu's roadways.

Holy smokes, best guy in the world. Glens the nicest teacher I have ever met and I completely DISAGREE with Susan T. I created a yelp account just to show how much I enjoyed his class. RUDE! They don't listen, refused to answer my questions, told me to call the DMV and then hung up on me.
