Wonderful staff, great instructors I would recommend this driving school to everyone, my experience with them was great!!! Thanks to lenny I got my license!!!

The best driving school ever. I was so discourage at first, but my instructor Lenny learned me so much about driving, and made me feel confident He was so patient and helped me a lot. They are very friendly. Bemadette was so nice too and she wanted me to call her after my road test, and when I told her that I passed, she was very happy. I am so recommending my instructor Lenny and this school to family and friends. Such amazing service! I know without Lenny's help, I would have never gotten my license. Thank you very much! I will see you soon for my highway lesson!

My 5 hour class was so enjoyable and educational at the same time, who said learning can't be fun? Bob V. was my instructor and we had a good time. My daughter took lessons here, they were so accommodating- she took Saturday lessons with Reggie and she passed her road test on the 1st try. She liked Reggie as her instructor as well. Everyone at this driving school is kind and patient. Listen to what they say, ask all the questions you have (even if you think the Q dumb) practice as much as you can, keep your cool during your test - and you will pass!

Having bought a package with you, it is the worst mistake of my life, I have been trying to make an appointment for my driving classes for more than 2 months, they tell me that they are going to call me, because they do not have necessary teachers, they are a fraud, I want my money Back

I was extremely nervous before taking the road test. I wasn't sure if I was going to pass or fail and anxiety began to settle in. Shannon, my instructor, gave me words of encouragement and reminded me that Gear, Steer, and Look would be the only ingredients I need to pass and I did! Trust the process!

This is the best driving school in NY! I had tried another school prior and had a horrible experience. I am so thankful for the experience I had with you guys. The office staff was so friendly and helpful. Both my instructors worked with me and told me why I failed my test twice prior. They worked with me on my weaknesses when I was on the verge of giving up on my license and myself.

Danielle has taught two of my daughters how to drive. She is profession, patient while making sure safety is the priority. I will definitely use them when my youngest daughter begins to drive.

Last week I accomplished something I never thought I could, passing my road test. I attended Island Driving School and everyone there was a delight. The packages they offer are excellent and the cheapest on the island. The secretaries in the office were extremely sweet and helpful, as well as all of the instructors. Michael T and Danielle are just two of the many instructors who helped calm my nerves and master the road.

The school also offers a "fast road test" for $90 which helps the students get their road test date anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks, not including weekends or holidays. The 5 hour class flew by because the instructor, Bob was hilarious and gave extremely helpful tips for my exam. I found myself using Bob's advice multiple times during my road test. The owner of the driving school, Bernadette was also very patient and helpful in finding time for my lessons with my availability. If you're looking for a friendly place to ease you into driving this is most definitely the place.

Would like to thank Island Driving School for the quality lessons I've received and for finally helping me get my license! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I want to thank my amazing instructor, Michael. I started the lessons feeling insecure and afraid of the road. After some time and with the help of Michael I was able to pass my road test. Michael gave me great advice and tips and I would highly recommend this instructor.

Michael from the Island Driving School, was very friendly, exceptionally patient, calm and cool with first time driving students, like myself. Michael is an expert at communicating and will know exactly where students need the most help after a couple minutes. Michael knows exactly what to say to motivate you!

He is very helpful in getting your license. There are no words to express my gratitude. I can only recommend that everybody and their mother sign up for lessons at Island Driving School because you won't regret it! Also the 5 hour class was super simple and easy. It is held by Bob and he does a great job. They keep the class light and humorous and the 5 hours go by extremely quick.

Hands down the best driving school.

I had a great experience at Island Driving School. Without my instructor Danielle, I wouldn't have passed my road test. She gave me great tips and advice that I kept in mind as I was taking the test. I highly recommend Danielle if you want to pass the road test. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor.

Abass is a very good instructor, we always took his time to teach also he will tell you when you do something wrong while you are driving. He will focus on your mistake and make sure you do it right. If you want to pass your road test once ask for Abass.

I want to thank you very much Rose. She is the best instructor I was so afraid and she make me feel so comfortable and I recommend to everyone if you want to pass in the first time choose the sweetest instructor ever. Rose thank you very much again.

I had a fruitful two hour session with Rose last week and just passed my road test today. She's an awesome instructor!

To Rose and all the staff I would like to say thank you for being so patient, kind and professional to me! I just passed my first road test thanks to Rose and the staff. They are very efficient and on point, they call the day before to remind you of your lessons. The day before my road test I realized I lost the five hr course certificate, crazy me.

I called them, they said no problem just come get another one! Loved it! So onto Rose. What a lovely, funny, patient lady! The first day I got in the car I told her to explain everything to me as if this was my first time getting into a car! She was so patient, and she taught me alot! When I kept messing up the paralell she made me feel at ease and gave me pointers that I will ALWAYS remember!

I will tell you guys to ask for Rose, but these owners are so professional and good judges of character that they pick the best of the best! So if you don't get Rose, you get Mike, or whoever else! THEY ARE ALL AWESOME!!! Even down to the guy who does the five hr course at night! Thank you guys so much for making this a great experience and it was worth every cent!! CHEERS!

I would like to thank Island Driving School for the exceptional quality of lessons I received the past two months and for helping me get my license! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and, most of all, I want to thank my brilliant instructor, Mike. I started the lessons feeling insecure and afraid of the road. I had taken driving lessons last summer at another driving school and failed my test.

Looking back, I realized it was because I was so nervous and my instructor at that school was very critical and impatient. Mike at Island Driving School, on the other hand, was very friendly, pleasant, laid-back, and most of all, exceptionally PATIENT.

His kind and approachable demeanor made me feel relaxed, and when I made mistakes, his response was always compassionate and understanding. He has a great sense of humor, and his ability to communicate clearly and explain the lessons with warmth and understanding made me feel confident and not afraid to learn from my mistakes. He is an expert at driving and road safety, but more importantly, he is an expert at COMMUNICATING what he knows to his students, particularly those first time driving students, like myself. Mike knows exactly what to say to motivate you!

Mike is the best instructor hands down. When I was driving with him it did not feel like I was practicing or with a person I did not know. I was comfortable right away and with only two lessons I passed my road test.
