Freedom Driving School is a family owned driving school in the Charlotte, NC area that is certified by the NC DOT and NC DMV. We specialize in having over 20+ years of driver's education experience in Charlotte Area, including positions involving certifying other Charlotte Area driving schools.

All instructors come from private school teaching backgrounds and are certified by the NC DMV and NC DOT. Our goal is to be friendly, patient, and accommodating and provide all students and adults in need of driver's education with the necessary tools to be a safe and responsible driver. We offer private driving lessons behind the wheel, class instruction as required by the state of NC for driver's permits, and driver improvement clinics.

I was driving behind a car with the student teach sign for this school on it. We wonder why kids are such bad drivers? She is one of the reasons why. Swerving all over the road and going way under the speed limit in the left hand lane. I was finally able to pass her and what is she doing you ask? She's staring at her phone! I called the number on the car and she told me I needed to line my own business. Lady you make it my business when your swerving on the road and I have my kids in the car with me. Wouldn't let me kids take a driving course with her if you paid me.

Absolutely an amazing experience. I took 3 lessons from her and passed my drivers road test on the first try. She is such a sweet and kind woman who takes her time and is very patient with you. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with freedom driving school and Ms. Olive, the instructor, was very hands on and super nice! I was able to pass my driving test the first time around and the dmv instructor was pleased that I did everything properly. I would 100% recommend freedom driving school if you're looking for a reliable and affordable company!
