Beyond thrilled with the professionalism by the ladies in the office to the driving instructor Rob. I signed my daughter up for a 2 hour class and driving test. She passed! She was very happy and felt super comfortable with Rob and the gentleman who tested her out. Best part is you go to the dmv to pick up your license right after you test! Thank you so much Cantor!

A 5 Star experience. The entire experience for my daughter was professional and structured. Her instructor Keith was wonderful, he gave her some great advice on Safe driving. My daughter was a big ball of nerves before her driving test, her examiner, Patricia was friendly and kind. The office staff, Susan walked me through setting up her DMV appointment. We were in and out within 30 minutes with a very happy new driver. I will recommend Cantor to every parent I know. Thank you!

I am so happy with Cantor's Driving School. The staff is very professional and very friendly. My daughter was very comfortable with all of the instructors. They made the experience of learning to drive pleasant and made nervous parents feel better about their child driving. My daughter got her license and passed the test with flying colors. I can't thank them enough!

Today I was picked up by my instructor, Glenn. He picked me up at 9:45 am, which was 15 minutes before my pick up time at 10:00 am. I thought that he was very polite coming early to my house, because he didn't have to do that. We ended up getting to the DMV at 10:00 am and he went over some things that were going to be on the test. He gave me little pointers and guidelines about absolutely everything.
He talked to me about signaling, turning, looking into my mirrors, my blind spots, the correct way to turn out of a parking spot, and most importantly, to take my time. I believe that without him, I would NOT have been as prepared or even passed. Not to mention he was very patient, because we had to wait 2 1/2 hours for my appointment time and if he hadn't of gone into the DMV and spoken with the manager, I definitely would have had to wait probably another hour.
So he also saved me some time. He waited for me to get out of the test which I know the instructors have to do, but he made it so relaxed and fun. I'm naturally a really nervous person, but he is the absolute perfect person for the job. Cool, calm, and collected. I think i made a new friend today! Such an awesome experience, and I will be telling everyone about Cantors.
It makes sense why they are the #1 driving school. THANK YOU! I finally passed. What a great feeling! Not to mention mike, who also helped me immensely. He taught me pointers about parking, and just about everything you can think of. I had two lessons with mike before my DMV appointment. I appreciate his help because he was patient and calm as well!

One of my family members has been a menace on the road for as long as I can remember. I'm talking decades here. Aging vision, very poor hearing, and neck stenosis had only contributed to the existing issues i.e. road rage, cutting people off, not using turn signals, tailgating, etc, . My 88 year old relative would not hear of suggestions that he no longer drive, and was hostile at the mere mention.
I was extremely concerned about the safety of other drivers on the road, not to mention the fear of being sued for millions if someone were harmed in an accident. I then broached the subject of using an unbiased driving professional to evaluate him. I was thrilled that he agreed to a driving lesson and evaluation. Next stop was Cantor driving school.
I stopped by and met the owner and Susan, who were professional, patient, and kind. They gave me invaluable information and advice that was very helpful. I explained my situation and Susan listened to my needs and booked me with a great teacher named Keith. Beyond being competent and professional, Susan is a compassionate, and genuinely nice person, and so is the owner.
I felt confident about being in such capable hands. Fast forward to the lesson, after the evaluation. I met Keith in person, and found him to be a friendly, no nonsense type of guy. He was clear and firm about his concerns over my relatives driving ability. I was extremely relieved to hear a professional validate my own concerns. Susan promptly called me for a follow up.
All in all, i am so grateful for the professionals at Cantor driving school, and I can't thank them enough. Thanks to them, there is one less dangerous driver on the road. I recommend them highly.

I loved the idea of retired police officers as instructors, had seen positive reviews on Yelp and other sites so picked Cantor for my son. Scheduling was easy, they sent reminders and confirmations, and the instructors were always prompt in arriving. My son quickly learned to drive with confidence. He passed his test on the first try and the examiner told me his driving was "excellent". I couldn't be happier!

My daughter gained so much confidence driving with Jeff from Cantor's driving school. She took 3-2 hour lessons and Jeff gave her so many tips and advice about driving on the road and what to expect on the driving test. My daughter told me that Jeff put her at ease while driving and when she took her driving test today, she passed easily. She made no mistakes. Thanks so much Cantor's! I will be recommending this school to my friends.

The second the lady from the DMV saw I was taking the test with a Cantor car and my instructor was with me, I got in the car and she said, "you can't be nervous, if they're your instructors, you're probably an even better driver than I am." I'm from Manhattan and had never driven when I started with Cantor (at 22 years old,) and after a few lessons with them I passed the test with flying colors on the first try. They made everything very easy. Thanks a million!! Gwen was especially nice as an instructor.

I have been to several driving schools in 2 states and had bad experiences at almost every one of them. I had went to 2 driving schools in Florida before I found Cantor's. At one I was screamed at by the instructor, at the other I was given false information on how to pass the road test and I failed it. I wasn't even shown how to correctly park, I had to youtube that.
So I went looking for yet another school and I found Cantor's Driving School. If I had known about them before I would have chosen them above any other school, just for the fact that all of the instructors are former cops.
I spoke with Susan and she was so nice. She always called me back right away if I left a message and always tried to get me the appointments I wanted.
I was assigned an instructor, and to be honest I wasn't 100% satisfied with this instructor. I won't mention any names, but I needed to work on specific things like parking and 3 point turns and all we did for 2 lessons was drive around my neighborhood. I can understand that for true beginners, but I had been taking lessons (at other schools) for months at that point.
So for my third lesson at Cantor's I was assigned Ken. I told him about my horrible experiences at the other schools, and he listened and sympathized, which I instantly felt good about. He assured me that he would teach me the proper techniques, and he showed me the paper form with exactly what you need to do to pass the road test. We did a 2 hour lesson and I learned more in that one lesson than in months at the other schools. In minutes he showed me how to park, (finally!) how to do hand over hand, we practised turns, etc. The lesson was packed with what I needed to practice on and I was starting to feel good about driving.
I wanted to rebook with Ken but he was booked up. One of the instructors he recommended was Al so I booked with him. He was phenomenal also. When I met him he already knew about my previous experiences. He assessed my driving and knew right off what I needed to work on. We went to a parking lot and practiced what is on the test plus went over other important things like blind spots. Then he got out of the car and he had me do several practice runs for the road test. Now this was a big thing for me, since I never drove alone before. But doing that helped me tremendously. Al was so patient that I was able to relax and just practice at my own pace.
After the lesson I asked him if I was ready to try taking the road test again. He said yes. He could have said no, and got me to pay for more lessons, but he was honest and I appreciate that.
The school is authorized to administer the road test. I signed up for that and Susan got me an appointment for the next day which I was happy about because the lesson was still fresh in my mind. I got there early, they took me right away......and I passed with flying colors!!!!
Thanks to Ken and Al and their professionalism, patience and respect I am a driver now. Thank you!
