Comedy Guys doesn't just work hard to make our defensive driving classes interesting and entertaining. We also work at making all the administrative side of things go smoothly, too. And that includes signing up for our online defensive driving course. As this video shows, we've made registering for our online driving safety course as simple and easy as it can be.
Online Defensive Driving with No Reading
Yeah, we said no reading, and we meant no reading. Comedy Guys Defensive Driving has added audio files to all the text pages of our online driving safety course. Click one button, and the page reads itself to you. Which leaves you free to do other things while your ears are taking our online defensive driving course.
Comedy Guys Defensive Driving
Comedy Guys Defensive Driving, the largest driving safety school in Texas for ticket dismissal and auto insurance discounts, has created this video presenting a public service announcement from decades ago, but still giving good advice. In 1958, CBS Radio used to broadcast this PSA, advising people that reckless driving is dangerous and immature.

The online course available is absolutely amazing! I am a busy college student with a lot on her plate, but this course made things very painless and added some humor into a stressful situation! I could log in and out at my pace, call the 24/hr help line with any questions, and everything was prompt! Thank y'all sooo much!

The course itself is outdated, and the jokes are corny. Overall bearable, I could do without some of the woman driver jokes. But my trouble wasn't with the course. It was with the certificate delivery. I expedited my certificate arrival and paid $25 to get "2 day shipping" I called and confirmed with an employee on Monday at 7:22PM that the certificate would be delivered on Wednesday from 3PM-7PM "or earlier since it's a local courier" it is 10:00PM and no sign of a certificate, no one answers the office line (I called during hours) and there was ZERO communication that there was going to be a lapse in delivery.
If you're going to charge a customer an additional $25 to deliver on top of the $25 to take your outdated course, have the decency to alert the customer if the delivery is going to be later that evening or next day. Let's see when this certificate arrives. Definitely asking for a full refund of the $25 delivery fee SINCE THEY HAVEN'T EVEN DELIVERED IT!

Warning: Do not take this course! My husband probably should have known better, since there are so many poor reviews (just check their FB), but he ended up taking their online course. It has probably been one of the worst decisions we've made. He completed the course, paid for the delivery, and waited. When the certificate didn't show, we became concerned, and asked the court for an extension.
Surely it was just a mistake, and the certificate would be delivered soon. By this point in time, we probably should have just paid to take another course. After calling them numerous times, with the owner always promising to call us back (but never actually doing it), we missed the court deadline. We pleaded with the court to grant us a second extension, but they said their hands were tied and that we had to pay a $200 fine!
Not only did my husband take this course in vain, but now we're out $200, plus the actual cost of the course AND the delivery fee (which is simply enraging). I've already reported them to TEA and BBB, so we'll see what happens from here. I wouldn't wish our same fate upon anyone. Please don't take your chances here.

I purchased the live course as I figured I would complete the course I actually had to go. This was the biggest waste if money and my time. The only funny comments were by us the students. The "comedy" instructor didnt even attempt a joke. What he did manage to do was make up completely ridiculously false "facts" such as when a train approaches the tracks become magnetic. Thats how the train stays on the tracks. Seriously?
Top all this off with crappy pizza and seriously uncomfortable plastic chairs made for kiddy birthday parties. Oh and just so you know, throwing food out the window can actually cause animals to flock to an area and then have sex and mess up the entire ecosystem. Yeah, I can't believe I paid money for this. What a crock!
