First Class Driver has been one of the Metroplex's leading driving schools for almost two decades. During that time, we have helped many teen and adult drivers to qualify for their permits; learn to drive safely and smartly; remove blemishes from their driving records; and prepare to be professional drivers or instructors.Our instructors provide the personal training you need to successfully qualify for your license in fun and entertaining classes that replace the tension, boredom, and often bad food of many other driving schools with a healthy, happy and engaging atmosphere. Our class center and administrative offices are conveniently located near the intersection of Interstate 20 and Bryant Irvin Road in Fort Worth.

Fortunately, First Class Defensive Driving has a fun, fast and inexpensive way to scrub your driving record clean: Driving Safety 101. This fun-filled, one-day, six-hour class offers a humorous look at a serious subject. We use lively discussion, entertaining videos, and easy-to-remember keys to provide the information needed to successfully pass our in-house traffic test.

Many people wait until their adult years to pursue a driving license. Since 2010, First Class Driver has helped hundreds of students in our adult driver education classes to get behind the wheel by passing the Texas written driver test.
Our instructors understand that adult students have limited time to spend in the classroom. So we have designed a one-day, six-hour class to provide the driving knowledge and safety perspectives needed to pass the state's driver test. It's a fun, fast-paced way to get you through the permit process and on the road.

Since retiring from Lockheed Martin in 2007, I have devoted myself to making First Class Driver Texas premier driving school. I am proud to say that we have been recognized as one of the areas top flight (dare I say First Class?) driving schools and a favorite of teen and adult drivers throughout the Metroplex. Born and raised in Fort Worth, I spent several years in California and a few months in Houston before returning home. Theres just no place like home! That doesn't mean that I have lost the traveling bug. When my husband and I are not managing the school or teaching students, vacationing is mandatory. We love snorkeling and sleeping late in Kauai and Maui, and when I'm home, you can usually find me outside in the pool, grilling or planting the garden.
Bernie Goeders
After claiming Oklahoma as my birthplace, I was a military brat whose family lived in many places around the nation and overseas, including Germany and Philippines. Along the way, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University. After retiring from Lockheed Martin, this Okie/Aggie is proud to be an owner, instructor and director of First Class Driver.

As a former school teacher in Abilene and owner of Abilenes A-OK Driving School, I have taught many teens and adults the ins-and-outs of driver safety and have helped aspiring driving professionals to move toward their dreams.

Staff is awesome, but what they don't tell you is you need to make your driver's permit appointment at DPS in advance. Appointments are 5 weeks out right now, so unless you schedule it way in advance of your class, drive 30 miles out of town to another DMV, or start waiting in line at 6AM for a same day appoinent, your kid won't have their permit to start the driving portion of their course. Be prepared!

Stellar Customer Service! Mr. Bernard helped me tremendously when I took driving lessons with him over the course of 5 months. He helped me get over my fear of driving and prepare so that I could pass my driver's test and eventually get my license. I was finally able to get my first car. Forever grateful :.
