Not sure why people gave them a bad review, But i completed it and my certificate came sooner then 5 to 7 days! 5 out of 5! Had absolutely no issues. If you had issues its probably because you messed up or somehow forgot your verification stuff. Because everything worked out super great for me! Definitely recommend

They automatically enroll you for a five dollars per month roadside assistance. They have hundreds of negative reviews across multiple sites reflecting the scam. At no point did I request this

Easy to sign up, inexpensive but confirmation of completion of traffic school course is lacking. The course is what you would expect on basic driver safety and laws interspersed with, at times long, videos. I only found it to take about 4 hours. The downside of this service, at least what I just experienced, is that there is no certificate of completion page you can go to while your logged in.

The site simply sits at the traffic school course agenda page that has everything checked. You can't go anywhere else other then a less then helpful help page. I found the automated chat frustrating, too presumptive and too fast for any decision input til the next question. I did get a human to talk to pretty quickly and was who helpful this number was: 800-723-1955 - Customer Service.

I was assured that completion of the course was sent to the states DMV automatically and she had escalated my request for certificate of completion. I will give it 24 more hours to see if I get it.

Never got certificate. Went on their website to try to reorder a certificate. Website keeps failing to process.

The course was fine but I had issues getting my certificate. Their system said I had completed the course Dec 29. I contacted them because I was receiving emails stating that I had a few days to finish my course. I received an email on Jan 2 from a support person stating the I would be receiving my certificate in 5-7 business days and I had completed the course.

It is now February and I still don't have my certificate. I complained 4 times and finally my issue was handled - Probably the complaint I filed with my credit card company got someone's attention. Last week I was told my certificate is in the mail and my account was credited for the amount I paid. The completion date was marked the end of January so I have lost a month of discount on my insurance but hopefully I am done with this aggravation.

I researched courses to dismiss a speeding ticket in TX and idrivesafely.com kept coming up as highly recommended. I purchased what I thought was the online class as it was a hyperlink. It was $30. However, I soon found out it was a bait and switch and only bought my driving record, which I don't need until after I complete the course. So I then bought the proper course NOT clicking on the hyperlink.

Then the course wouldn't pull up. Of course their customer service was closed on the weekend even though the website says they are available 7 days/wk. I emailed support and they did get back to me 24 hrs later telling me they updated my course and it should be able to be accessed now. So I logged on and it did allow me to start the course; however, it asks for the county where you got the ticket and then the court.

The court listed on my ticket isn't on the drop down list. So, now, here we go on day 3 of not being able to complete this course, and having paid $55 for this course and driving record when it should have just been $30. We'll see if they refund the extra $25 I paid and if they can explain how I get around my court (the city municipal court where I got my ticket) not being listed. I'm very frustrated with how not user friendly this website and entire process has been!

If I could I would rate this a zero. After taking the course (I can't believe I passed due to the questions had nothing to do with material covered), they charge you $5 a month and you have NO WAY to cancel these charges. This is not fun, so what they do is send you a random email designed to go to spam about providing you with ALL State roadside assistance for $5 a month (automatically without warning you - shame on you All State Insurance real insurance company for be part of this fraud/scam).

I lost all respect for All State Insurance for doing business with these scammers. In the email you are sent to a website where you are asked to enter your email address to cancel (manage) this BS Roadside assistance, but you can't. You can never cancel it. Cause you never get an email to cancel it. Why would they - it's not about selling traffic school or following the law of doing business it's about getting your $5 a month. (it all adds up. you get $5 from me and $5 from someone else).

They don't charge the $5 immediately cause they give you a month or two free (remember this is in a separate email so it's designed to get you later). So this company isn't trying to sell traffic school but scamming you out of $5 a month for this roadside assistance. It's fraud and scam which. This is why the other reviewers are all talking about the test being bogus. Someone should investigate this, as this can't be legal!

They never mailed my certificate and wanted me to pay for another, F them, I rather not get the insurance discount. Stay away, don't do it, a complete scam. Don't let them take ur money.

Ok, a few issues here so I'll try to keep it brief. Short version: I hope you were smarter than most of us here and researched this "company" before you let them rob you. 1) The timer will bleed you out. No one who should be driving reads that slow. Who are you kidding with this? 2) I purchased the video version of the defensive driving course which was an extra $9.99 AFTER paying the $24.95 for the course itself.

All was going well until. 3) their ridiculous ID verification process froze my whole account. The number they give you to call doesn't work and it soft locks you as you can't move onto the next segment until you've verified your ID, which you only get 2 chances to try or you have to start from the beginning. And so I did have to start from the begging and what do you know? they're asking me AGAIN to pay for the video version as if I never did. but they have my money. and I have receipts. so who the F@#$ ARE YOU KIDDING WITH THIS?!?!?! 4) Joe T. and Amber D. share the same punchable picture. I will be coming for a full refund, you scammer scourge.

The super slow timer for each question is terrible but worse yet, somewhere in the process they defaulted me into buying recurring $5 a month roadside assistance. I wasn't aware that I signed up for it and never wanted or used it. I wouldn't even now how to if I wanted to. My wife told me that I've been paying them for months for a service that I NEVER wanted and didn't know I had.

When I took on the project of cancelling, I first called their customer service at 10am pacific time and it went to voicemail. Clearly they are counting on people to not get around to cancelling or putting it off when it isn't easy to find how to cancel. I am sure they can point to the place where some screen I clicked through had an option to opt out, but it's clearly their business plan to sell people indefinitely a service that they don't consciously choose. Deceptive and unethical. Yuck!

Super slow timer. What a tremendous waste of time. You have to wait super long to for each section to finish. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

My daughter had a terrible experience with this website. She took and passed their exam, but had to go back to her country and due to COVID lockdowns, she really couldn't get back to the US in time and the exam expired for her. When she returned back to the US, she took and passed the exam again on their website. Apparently, IDriveSafely, does not have a procedure for handling this type of situation.

To make a long story short, IDriveSafely could never fix this issue for the DMV to accept her passed exam. Overall, I had to go to the DMV five times in the span of two weeks, (there are no appointments allowed, so walk-in only) going back and forth with the DMV and contacting IDriveSafely, trying to correct IDriveSafely's mistake. In the end, my daughter just ended up taking the exam at the DMV and used that to get her Learner's. IDriveSafely's website was a total waste of time for her.

Their online course and practice exams are not good either. My daughter tried them and she said they were not helpful to pass. She said she passed because she downloaded the Driver's Handbook and used that to study instead. I hope you never have to go through the experience my daughter and I did with IDriveSafely.

Due to traffic citation it was necessary to take the 4 hr basic course to avoid points on my insurance. It was unclear which 4 hr course to take bc both said to avoid points but one was court ordered though it wasn't clear to me if I had an actual court order considering the paperwork received from the courts didn't come right out and say court ordered.

It seemed like this course was more expensive however I can't confirm that because the others ultimately have a low upfront fee to entice you then a la carte the rest so ultimately paying the same. The main objective for me is that the certificate is electronically sent to the DMV from the school itself which is part of the a la carte items. Then how many test retakes are allowed (3), just in case.

My trick to keep the timer going on the course pages was using a split screen on my laptop in order to keep entertained bc the course program stops the timer every time you leave their page therefore this is the only way to keep the timer moving while you can FB/Google etc. Also, just copy and paste any quiz question in google search bar and the correct answer will populate ensuring you get a 100% and not having to read or watch videos on every page.

Simply go back and forth to side by side windows every time the course page timer is up to click to the next page then back to your other viewing window to play. Btw, trying to phone a customer service number was near impossible then upon calling it seemed farmed out to another country, very frustrating rep. Other than that this course was very, very simple to use and would use it again.

I used this site twice 2014 and 2018, its not easy lots a reading and video watching my experience was different from most, I sit for 6 hrs. and was so hungry had to call then, I thought I had complete the course the same day, but it was not SO., i could do the rest each day for 30 days, I learn a lot after I finally finish. I pass I was so much a better driver, better than going to the 5 hours class.

Now am reading all these negative reviews, what happen here. it sound awful maybe its new management, now i was about to sign up. and start the course, but am afraid from reading the reviews, new search begin why me.

Advertised as the fastest course. It took 7 hours to complete. The timer count down is monotonous and counts down 5 times slower than most people can read, so you have to wait question after question, and chapter after chapter, huge time sink, not worth the time or cost.

Pick another company. I wish I had seen these reviews before I paid. Over a year after coronavirus hit America, this company claims they can't offer customer service because of COVID-19. Are you serious? If I'm lucky, they may respond in 24-48 hours. What a joke!

I used these company before and I breezed through it in a couple of hours. Now they have it set so that you have to wait the allotted time on each page and it takes ALL DAY. Any review that says otherwise is a LIE! FIND ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE!

Practice questions are not like the ones at actual DMV testing location. Aced the idrivesafely practices but the real test is not the same.

These people are thieves. Their system told me that PayPal was not available to use for sign up at this time. I used my credit card and it said there was an error. I tried again and it did the same thing. A couple minutes later, i get an alert from the credit card company that idrivesafely charged me twice for $24.95. I called them (on a Monday, at 1pm) and the voice message says that I have reached them after hours! TOTAL SCAM! Do not trust these people!

Started at 11am and finished around 5 pm. Very easy. Played the audio version while I did some other things. Took the quizzes. I think a lot of people are upset because of the verification process. It is very personal and asks questions only the person taking the exam will know. Don't pay someone to do this exam because they will fail the verification and really is worth it to know the knowledge for yourself so you don't get any more points on your license.

I just can't believe I spent about 4 hours reading and answering security questions. I had used them before and it wasn't that bad. I won't be using them anymore because I wasted my time and money. I really need to get a refund right by the final test I gave up.

Found on AAA website. Thought it's user friendly. Not quite. $17.95 for Traffic School plus $9.95 for email certificate (no need). Make sure to unclick the box. Pro: Convenient online website Cons: VERY Poor Customer service. Always a wait and no one return calls. Do not add any additional emails or hardcopy certification, court won't need it and I Drive Safely will not offer any refund.

EDITED REVIEW: I cannot handle how ABSOLUTELY terrible they are with both customer service and follow-through. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, asking that they shut down this business ASAP. It's a scam, and do not spend your money here. Have been on hold with customer service for over 2 hours to ask a simple question about my course completion. This is such a scam, and I cannot believe that I even signed up with these folks.

Worst customer service ever. I have yet to receive my email certificate delivery confirmation. It's been 3 days. The course was So dumb. I just sat on hold with customer service for an hour before a recording came on and told me to call back later. Then hung up on me.

Maybe someone can answer me here since getting through to the phone doesn't work. I WANT EVERY PENNY BACK NOW @Amber you should contact me ASAP

If I could give no stars I would. Beware! If you enter something incorrect like then county court they will NOT correct any mistakes on the certificate without charging you a $10.00 fee! PLUS! You must wait 10 days from date of issue to pay that 10 bucks! So, I'd you waited till the last minute you are SOL.

Well, I liked it. It was specific to my state and very thorough. It took about 6-7 hours, but you can save and come back at any point. I did NOT use the voice recognition and I recommend you don't either because several people seem to have had trouble with this. I highly recommend it and my certificate came within five business days. Oh, Liberty Mutual did give me a decent discount, but it isn't 10%. Still worth the effort and money.
