Our campus includes a spacious yard for training and practice. Our instructors are friendly, courteous and patient, and are available 7 days a week to work with your schedule. Class A Tractor/Trailer Operator Program

This program is designed for entry level driver preparation of the California CDL test and successful employment through an intensive four to eight-week program. Field and classroom training provide a combined total of 160 hours. Class A CDL training includes DOT Safety Rules and Regulations, State regulations, and proficiency development in the skills required to obtain employment. A-1 Truck School offers day, evening, and weekend classes. The top trucking companies in the nation will actively recruit from WTS classes.
Class B CDL

Training course is provided year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. This training is designed to prepare A-1 Truck School graduates to become professional entry-level commercial truck (Class B) drivers. The Class B Commercial Driver's Course is a 40-hour program that you can take during the day, the evenings or even weekends! The instructor to student ratio for our Class B program is one to one.
This normally all-field training course consists of driving in training areas that include combination of highway, city, and heavy traffic areas with a strong emphasis on defensive driving. After completion of the course, students are taken to the Department of Motor Vehicles for the Class B Commercial Driver's License skills and driving tests.

I highly recommend A-1. Their services are on point and the instructors demonstrate acute knowledge of all the material reviewed for the test. Jaime was always thorough and patient and Ron didn't miss a step on the air brakes and none of the instructors hesitated to correct my errors so I could perfect my skills and knowledge. Paul who runs the school was straight forward about everything so I knew exactly what to expect and where I stood. If your trying to pass your drive test this is a good spot to do it.

All of the instructors at A-1 trucking school, Paul, Ron, Jamie, Doug & Roberto, are very knowledgeable. They are also very generous with their time. They will teach you what they know. They will make sure you are ready to pass your test before they send you to DMV. With a 97% success rate, why go anywhere else? A-1 is affordable and worth every penny.

A-1 truck driving school has the most professional program i have found. It is ran very tight with helpful instructors to help you achieve your goals. I was there for 4 weeks before testing at DMV and passing leaving A-1 with my class A license. Jamie and Ron are great instructors. They are extremely patient, calm, helpful and interested in helping each student.
It is a all hands on learning experience with repetition that works. No class room setting. All of the learning is done at and inside the trucks. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this program. My goals were met here.

The school is great if you put all the work in it, the teachers are on point. Paul is very straightforward and does not waste your time, they have plenty of trucks to train on and a large facility here in Hayward. Ron is very thorough and technical on the air brakes and inspections, he is very good at explaining all the details for the test and how to help you Just make sure you come in and put the working, schools great it's all what you put in. Highly recommend it if anyone wants to be serious about getting the truck license

I signed up for A1 Truck Driving School and completed within 6.5 weeks. I was provided with the guidance and knowledge to get my permit and Class B license throughout my time at A1. The instructors Ron, Edgar, and Jamie guided me throughout the whole process, took the time to show me each step and prepared me for the final test. I went into the final test confident and well prepared. They were also accommodating and allowed me to make payments. So I recommend anyone trying to get their CDL license to check out A-1 trucking school.

This trucking school is awesome definitely will recommend this school to anyone I know that wants to get into Trucking. Ron and Jaime were really great to work with they were really patient and helped me out a lot when it came to learning skills. If you listen to what they tell you and study at home and at the yard you will definitely pass. Big shout out to Paul for running a smooth operation without him this school wouldn't be what it is. I graduated from this truck driving school and I must say it is the best, they really push you too succeed and they don't give up on you. The price is great and they work with you. I had to work on the weekdays so I could only go on Saturday and they were very understanding. I passed with flying colors and now I work for a company that pays very well and I owe it all to a1 truck driving school.

The school speaks for itself, come down and do yourself a favor and take a look and compare to other truck driving schools. They have the best equipment in the largest trucking facility in all the Bay Area. Management instructors are all great long as you follow through on everything. Great communication skills and the school is definitely worth the price may pay a bit more but it's definitely worth it. Have a great day and God bless you everyone
