High Ridge Driving School

You guys are amazing. I took my test today and passed. My instructor Andriy, was so helpful and patient. I don't remember the name of gentleman who picked me up this morning and took me to DMV, he was so nice. I can't say Thank you enough.

I have a 16 year old son who recently attended High Ridge Driving School. I have to say I am impressed and pleased. The on line classes are not only informative but exceptionally thorough. The driving instructor was patient, kind and also thorough. My son was grateful the instructor took his time and went out of his way to ensure he had the skills he needed not only to pass his road test but skills for everyday driving. Thank you High Ridge Driving School for having the patience I do not have and sharing your care that I have for my son.

I called High Ridge driving school on behalf of my boyfriend who does not speak English. I called to ask for a copy of his certificate being that he took the course back in 2017. Brian was very patient, kind, and helpful. He was able to find his certificate and send it to my boyfriend in no time.

After some research and many recommendations, we chose High Ridge Driving School for our daughter a few years ago and were very happy with their service. Now that is time for our son to start his training, we have decided to use them again, not only because of their experience, but for their great costumer service as well.

This driving school is very good. The instructor I'm using is calm and knowledgeable which gives me confidence on the road. The lessons are extremely immersive and realistic. I would recommend this school to new learners and anyone looking to freshen up their skills. The school is also accomodating and flexible with scheduling.

The school and the people here is very helpful they got me going step by step in my classes I definitely recommend this school.

I filled up most of the application online But there are always new questions that come up when you have a first time teenager wanting to drive. I called the driving school and Ron was friendly and very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Looking forward to the process!

Thank you for teaching my daughter all the rules for driving. Instructors are amazing and caring. They make sure every student is prepared and ready for the day of their test. Highly recommend High Ridge Driving School

The school is ok, but the office staff that is inept. I Wouldn't hire them to work in any service industry! The so called office Manager Brian is a total moron. Talk about someone having a chip on his shoulder. Condensing and rude! The Owner is not there most of the time, so he figures he can treat customers as he wishes. As my child and her friends are of driving age and we will make sure everyone knows of the attitude Brian has and the lack of service he offers to customer.

Other children in the school has issues with him also and his rudeness. I see others has had issues with Brian also, but he is still working there. I should have checked on YELP earlier! As my child has finished her lesson, I feel I can share as Brian cannot do anything to jeopardize her getting her license. Word of mouth can be the best or worst friend to a business!

Driving instructor was very discouraging instead of positive and encouraging. Don't waste your time and money

They taught me driving well but they made us wait forever. I sat in the waiting room for almost 4 hours waiting for my test

Both of my children have gone through this school. The instructors are amazing. I had Some questions and was a little worried about something and the way the office staff treated me was like i was Their one and only customer. I'm truly thankful and wouldn't trust my kids to just anyone. However, this school has shown me it's about more than business.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews but seems like the only way that I can get in touch with someone here. I been emailing Trip since October so I can get my certification for the 8 hour safety course and no response, this was in October and yet we are in December and I haven't been able to take my driving test since I don't have the certification for the class. Edit: Trip got my back to me today through email.

I had a really good experience here. I was struggling to get my license for a while and they made it really easy for me. They teach great techniques for the road test and make sure you are aware of what proctors look for on the test. You can either take your driving test at the school or they can even take you to the dmv! Definitely worth every penny!

I had a really good experience with the school. I had multiple sessions with Freddy Cadet. Freddy is an amazing instructor. I passed the test on the first attempt thanks to him. He took me through almost all possible scenarios and built up my confidence comfortably. Based on my enjoyable experience, I recommend the school and Freddy to any new aspriasp driver.

Firstly, this is one of the more expensive institutes out there to take any driving course. I applied to take the drug and alcohol safety course and they charged me $125 while some other schools in Stamford charge $100. Moreover, they do not inform you that they operate in 2 different locations in the city. I am new to Stamford and when I booked my uber, it took me to their 992 high ridge road location at 9am. However, seeing nobody there, I called their number for help but no one answered.

I quickly took another uber and reached their 500 summer street location 10 mins late from the scheduled time. Without listening to what I had to say, they refused to let me into the class. I asked them that if I book another class will I get some discount considering that I just paid $125 and due to some error I missed the class. They refused and by their attitude I could tell they just wanted me to leave asap. I had a terrible experience here. Very rude and unsympathetic staff. Akhil

One of the teachers, Brian Zito is NOT welcoming, and seems to have had many snarky remarks to many of the people that attended the class I was in. Including myself. He was very short tempered, and NOT helpful at all to many of the students. Brian, you should take a vacation.

Struggled to get my license for years but this place did the trick. Professional staff and fair prices for the area. I have driven with Brian as well as Fred and I would highly recommend either of them, especially if you are an anxious driver like me! The instructors are amazingly helpful and informative. Fred even made time for me on his days off. I could not be more appreciative or satisfied for what High Ridge has done for me! Thanks again for everything :

Great school! Signed up for the 8 hour course and I found out they offered the course in Spanish, Polish, Russian and Creole aside from English! Great staff, very helpful and attentive! Took some lessons too and the instructor was great, he was patient and willing to go over and over anything I messed up.

My son is half way through the course. He loves the classes. The instructor knows how to relate to the kids and keeps them engaged. The staff could not be more helpful and organized. They also have the best price in the area.
