Teen Education
Report
This program consists of: 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours behind-the-wheel instruction, and 1 hour of driver observation. The complete course is five weeks in length. Instruction Permit is required for practicing behind-the-wheel driving. If you are just 15 years old you will need a waiver form from our school to get the WA state instruction permit.
If you are 15.5 years old you can get a permit by going to the Department of Licensing with a parent/guardian, ID, and passing the written test. You must have a permit before beginning the behind-the-whee practice sessions with the instructor. After completion of the Traffic Education Program, parents/guardians must provide a minimum of 50 hours of supervised driving practice, with 10 of those hours night practice, prior to taking the license test.
