We have a large number of instructors and training cars which allows us to provide more flexible availability to students. All training can be done without missing school or work - we train students 7 days a week, year round.

Driver Education
Report
The driver education program is Brown's oldest program originating in 1996. This program has been very successful because of the professionalism of great instructors, scheduling availability of drive times and a classroom program that is serious, yet fun. Brown's has approximately 18 cars in use year-round. All drives times cater to school schedules.
Basic Rider Course
Report
The Basic Rider Course is designed for the beginning rider or the rider who has been away from riding for a period of time. This course requires 5 hours in the classroom and 10 hours on the range riding the motorcycle. Brown's conducts the 5 hours of classroom in one evening. The 10 hours of range time are split from 8 am until 5 pm on Day 1 and 8 am until noon on Day 2. (This means less time in the heat on Day 2 during summer classes). Class will be held even if it rains.

I have sent all of my children through Brown's. Their customer service is excellent and my children have always had a great experience with their instructors. I would definitely recommend Brown's Driving School to anyone. I have several friends who have participated in the motorcycle driving course as well. No negative feedback on any of it. Thank you to all staff. You made my job as a mom much easier!

Brown's driving school has been exceptional. We went here a few years ago with my other daughter as well. The class was great and the drives were great and very professional. I did not hesitate once entrusting my daughters with the drivers. We were late getting her drives in before her license due to activities going on but when we needed them they told me to just let them handle it and they would make sure she was completely taken care of. They called very quickly and had all three drives booked for her. I can't say enough!

Each teacher was helpful an gave my daughter sound advice on driving. She improved with each drive. It is so comforting an makes me feel secure that all the drivers have had background checks an my child is safe with them. I am confident she will pass her written an driving test to get her driver's license. Thank you all staff!

If you want to get your drives in within a 2/3 month period. Good luck. I have called twice to schedule my sons drives, the first time they said to call back in 2 weeks. The second time was call back next week when we are scheduling for May. Today is the 6th of April! They need to limit how many students they are taking in so others can start and complete their 3 drives. My suggestion to whoever reads this is to go elsewhere.

My daughter had a great experience at Brown's Driving School. It's very convenient for her to be able to take the road test in the same cars that she has practiced in. Communication is great, very satisfied with the services that are provided. The only thing I will say is that it can take a while to get all the drives scheduled due to low availability.

All the people at Brown's are extremely nice and very knowledgeable. They were there throughout the process to answer any and all questions and believe me there were many. They went above and beyond to make sure my son was able to get all his drives in before his test date. Overall, a great experience.

The instructors were great! After my daughters 3rd drive and testing, Earl, from the Norman location called and congratulated her on her passing the test. She was nervous during her last drive and he made her feel so comfortable that that was her best drive! So thankful for Brown's driving school and the fabulous instructors!

Though the majority of the Brown's staff is helpful, some of the staff are rude and unprofessional. The receptionist was snarky and had a very short temper. Simple questions like "May I buy extra classes?" and "If testing is available on Saturdays?" provoked her to answer in rude and sudden outbursts as if she was frustrated I didn't know. Also, some of the instructors would get frustrated when a student didn't know some driving skills even though the student was there to learn said skills. Overall, customer service needs improvement.

Edit - Thank you Duane for taking the time to call and schedule the remainder of my daughter's drives. I do appreciate you scheduling her drives and the explanation of the ongoing situation. I don't understand why driving packages would be sold to parents when Brown's knows that they do not have enough instructors for drives. My daughter completed the driver's education course in August 2021, took her permit test and passed.
It took from August to November 23nd for a driving spot to come open. I have been checking online daily to schedule her second drive and no drives available until March 2022. She is due to take her driving test in February but can't until she has 3 drives done. How how that is possible? I have called and ask to be told multiple times new drives will be added.
Quit selling new packages until existing paid students have their drives fulfilled. If I had knew in advance Brown's operated as a battle royale for drive slots, I would have taken my business elsewhere.

My daughter just completed the basic package with Brown's and we were completely satisfied with her training and the convenience provided by Brown's. Their scheduling was convenient and the instructors were wonderful. She gained much confidence through her instructed drives. She was able to schedule her license test immediately after her 3rd drive which was very convenient and efficient - saved us a lot of time and hassle.
She passed her test on the first try with a good score. Everyone I ever talked to at Brown's was pleasant, courteous, and had wonderful attitudes - something that is harder and harder to find these days. I will definitely use them for my next kiddo.
