Our program is designed for 90% of low income students who meet federal low income guidelines and 10% of students may be over income if space is available. You must be at least 15 years old to enroll in our class D program. We also work with older individuals and various social service agencies.10 hours will consist of classroom training. Classroom sessions are held on Saturdays of each month from 12:00 noon - 5 pm (must attend 2 Saturday classes).6 hours of driving will be arranged between 6 am and 9:00 pm 7 days per week. (Parents must call to arrange drive times with instructors. Usually 3 two hour driving sessions at $40 each spread out over 6 months for students under 18). No personal checks.
All students must complete 10 hours of classroom instruction before a contract to get their permit is issued. All students must also complete 6 hours of driving with a certified instructor before the 16 hour total certificate of completion is issued to be eligible to take the driving test.

Great staff with helpful knowledge. You will get your permit and license when you complete Thomas driving school. The team here ensure no matter what obstacle you have that you will succeed and become a legal driver. It's affordable, payment plans, and overall professional and easy going. Best driving school I have attended and I have been to several.

My 18yr old grandson had scheduled and completed his permit driving certification with the Thomas driving school in January 2021. After completing their course, he decided to take his driving test with Thomas school but had been duped with multiple unfulfilled scheduling during a one-month period. I had intervened to help my grandson establish a schedule for his driving test with the Thomas driving school but had encountered the same challenges. Based on the first few negative Google reviews, there seems to be a trend of bad business practices with people of color.
I grow-up in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods on the Northeast side of Oklahoma City. It saddens me that our young ethnic adults are not treated with the same business courtesy as the non-ethnic group of people. With such disgrace, we had decided to take our business elsewhere outside the Northeast community.

Thomas Driving School has helped me to get all 3 of my boys their permits and drivers licenses over the past 5 years. They do a good job providing adequate coursework and provided a nice learning environment at their location for the classroom portion. They did a great job communicating with me and being flexible in providing drive times to take them out on the road. I would highly recommend them as a driving school

Extremely unprofessional and provides terrible customer service. They will be somewhat pleasant when you take their in-class sessions, but after that they show their true color. It's extremely hard to schedule and receive driving lessons. They don't typically answer phone calls, specially after they recognize your phone number. Their voicemail box is full and that should you tell you something.
They will tell you that they will call back, but they never do. During driving lessons, they will behave rudely and scream at you occasionally. This office and the staff gave me a "ghetto-like" experience.

This class is a very good, awsome, amazing driving class mr. Thomas explains what can happen in different ways that makes us young people understand he makes you realize that you don't pay attention many bad things can happen.i think people should come and learn more here at this driving school its amazing
