A1 Driving And Traffic School

Never got to drive because this company would not answer the phone at all. I really feel like I got scammed. I paid for three lessons and didn't get an email confirmation, their website is outdated, and they would answer the phone during business hours. This is my second day trying to get in contact with them. I will be demanding a refund :/

I chose this place based on the great reviews. Unfortunately it was not my experience thus the 1 star. Made an appointment for the DMV driving test for my daughter. Driver was scheduled to pick her up at 7:15 and NEVER SHOWED UP AND NEVER CALLED. I took off work to be here and waited to see her off. Once 7:30 rolled around obviously no one was coming based on where she was taking the test.

I had to wait again for the office to open to find out what exactly happened. How about the driver didn't even notify the office that the student had not been picked up and wasn't going to pick her up. At $140 for this "service", there were several cracks that could have been avoided. The driver should have sent a call or text the night before confirming the scheduled appointment, that way we would have been able to follow up with them directly since the office is closed at that time.

At least we would have known something. I had considered giving them a second chance after speaking with the office, however after hearing the driver made no effort to communicate with the customer nor the office staff, it's not worth the risk of giving them a second chance. Very disappointed and frustrated "almost" customer. Rename them F1 Driving school because you failed miserably today.

This is a good driving school. It was super easy to schedule my lessons with them and make payments, Jackie was always polite and helpful to me. All the instructors were very patient and pointed out my mistakes promptly. At the same time they never made me feel nervous and chatted very casually while driving. Its makes a lot of difference when you are driving for straight two hours : I had total 12 lessons with them and most of the time Geo was my instructor.

He was very friendly and encouraging! Definitely made me a better driver! Thank you all of you at A1 driving school! PS : they loose one star for messing up my pick up address more than twice.

Thank you so much A1! Geo, my instructor, was amazing! I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but Geo made the lessons fun and I started to be more relaxed. He adjusts to your needs, encourages you, and is always positive. He really believes in you and your skills. Thanks to him I gained a lot of confidence and started to enjoy driving. Finally I got my license and cannot express how much Geo helped me to be a better driver.

I hadn't driven a car before, and now thanks to A1 Driving School, I got my license on my first attempt! Special thanks to Geo, great teacher. He observes your driving keenly and customizes the lessons to develop what you lack. Also thanks to Jackie for prompt and efficient customer support.

Great experience! Surprising part was my instructor had much more confidence than I had that I will pass the Drive test in 1st attempt! This instructor has hell lot of patience and is so cool and friendly - start of my class, my view of me driving in US was different and after 1 class - I could see myself driving in US! I recently moved from India to US and used to drive back in India.

Amazing person to learn with, knows how to boost up confidence in his student and train him accordingly. I chew his brains a lot with my questions during my class - as in why not this way etc etc and he answered them all explaining the rules! So do i still need to mention his name here. Any guess. Ofcourse! It has to be Geo! Thank you A1 and Jackie who mapped me to Geo as my Driving Instructor. Thank you Geo! You Rock!

I was completely new to driving and had Geo as my instructor. He was a great teacher and extremely patient with me. He goes over driving rules and techniques pretty meticulously and also understands very well that each person has his/her own unique driving style. I took five classes and could feel the difference between how I started and finished. I got my license at my first attempt too! Thanks, Geo and A1! :

I would like thank A1 driving School for accompanying me all the way to my behind the wheel driving test. I had 4 hours session with them and it's really worth it. I passed my behind the wheel driving test with flying colors and I only took it once! Geo was my instructor and he did all the best of his ability to make me a good driver! He instructs well and he is very systematic in terms of driving!

I gained my confidence in the road and I was able to deal with different traffic situations and managed it very well! Geo you are the man! Keep up the good work! You are really efficient and effective driving instructor! Also to Jackie thank you very much for your excellent customer service, I really appreciate it. You guys in A1 driving School are so NICE! I had failed the behind-the-wheel driving test five times before I found A1 Driving & Traffic School. I had driven with a permit for many years but always messed up in some ways when I took the driving tests. Therefore, I really needed a driving coach who could help me get my driver's license at the sixth try, and Geo was the guy! One thing Geo did differently from my previous driving coaches was that he did not "drive for me." There were several times that I went too close to the car in front of me but I was able to stop before I "kissed" those cars.

When most driving coaches would have stepped on the brake for me (some might even scream out due to panic, ) Geo gave me the opportunities to feel how much time I might need to safely stop my car. With his calm attitude, I felt I was trustworthy and gradually built up my confidence in driving. After Geo's training, I truly believe that I can be a good driver without anyone telling me "what to do" when I drive alone in the future.

I took fourteen 2-hour sessions with Geo within one month, and had practiced driving around the general Los Angeles areas including local streets and highways, even on the winding roads in Laurel Canyon. We usually had the radio on and chatted like friends. Although Geo seemed to be casual, he was quite alert when I drove. He gave comprehensible instructions when I didn't know how to react to the road situations, and his advices indeed helped me improve my driving skills.

All in all, I had very happy learning experiences with Geo and A1 Driving & Traffic School (Jackie and Abraham were also very patient when I talked to them.) Most importantly, I passed my driving test this time at Culver City DMV. Thank you, Geo!

A1 Driving school was a fun and interesting experience. I purchased three lessons. For the first and third lesson, I had the honor of having Christi as my instructor with her extremely fun personality, passion of music, and her influence of calming you down and getting you focused on the road. She gives you really good tips and notes and repeats them constantly so that you would remember them.

Really good instructor for teenagers especially. The second lesson, I had was with Frank. he was very mellow and patient with me. He had great reflexes, laughed at my jokes, and when i was freaking out on the freeway he calmed me down and got me through it.

I never had to drive until I move to USA and I have had another school but they were less than professional. I was very apprehensive after my relatively bad experience with the previous school, but Frank's calmness and politeness in my first lesson already took all my worries away. Frank was very patient and he helped me tackled my weaknesses very effectively.

I had Geo in my last two lessons and he has a completely opposite demeanour to Frank. He's very energetic, positive, funny and friendly. I was comfortable in the car in no time and because of his jokes I quickly got over my mistakes, laughed them off and moved on. With the collective help of Frank and Geo, I passed in one!
