I really love this driving school. I worked with Max Stoian Maria - they are the best. Very knowledgeable and just awesome teachers. Kasha will make your schedule around your work and will remind you daily about your progress and lessons. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. They really care about you, you feel like part of big Viking family!

I recently attended Viking driving school and had a great experience. I went for my CDL. The classroom instructor Maria does a great job teaching the material for the Pre-Trip Inspection. The instructors on the yard also do a excellent job getting you ready for the skills and driving test. Everyone there is very dedicated to what they do and want to see you succeed. I just got my CDL license. I was clueless when I started and now I can actually drive a truck! And is manual transmission! I am very happy with the service, the office, the classroom and yard teachers! They are really passionate about their job. I will recommend the school to all my friends.

Just got my CDL and diploma today! I'm so happy I found Viking driving school. Everyone here is great and wonderful working with. My teacher is a experience commercial driver, she thought us everything she knows about trucking and answered all my questions to get me prepared for the Road. Also The instructors on the yard are very knowledgeable and taught me everything I needed to know about the truck, including how to properly down shift gears and how the transmission works. When the time came for my exam I was ready and passed! Thanks Viking for everything and the great experience Truly appreciate!

Arthur was a great instructor and did an amazing job preparing us for the permit and driving test. The course is easy but made all the easier by the professionalism of the staff and instructor and viking driving school is a great place to learn to drive. Great location as well, very easy to get to the school.

I just got my CDL from Viking. Their customer service is great. The instructors are perfect. They teach one on one!one student one instructor one vehicle. Not like the other school where there are couple of students and one instructor. The school is open 7 days a week. They make your schedule however is convenient for you! I would recommend the school to all my friends!

Probably the best truck driving school in town! Classes and training are conveniently scheduled. And that allows you to learn at your own pace. An advice I would give to future students is, listen to your instructors. It doesn't matter if you had past experience or not. Your instructors know better and will teach you the proper way.

I am very happy to be here. I did not graduated yet, but I will soon. For now I'm in Maria's Class- she is great. I never knew I would actually understand air brake system and now I do understand clearly! I am driving with Max he is very patient and straight forward, he explains very good. Overall I very happy with my choice. As soon as secretary of state opens l should be done with the training and get my CDL

I want thank Viking Driving School and Special thank you to Maria she is awesome teacher and Special thank you to all the instructors at the yard and my favorite guy Stoyan he is best he is like friend and brother thank you so much. Great school to be enroll, teacher Maria is very explicit about pre trip inspection. Kasia helps you from beginning to finish. Amazing staff ( Max, Stoyann) road instructor. As long as you study hard and consistently going to class and yard to do skills and road it's an automatic pass for you. Highly recommended the School!

The drivers ed for teenagers class I attended was amazing. Our instructor, Hector, never failed to make our classes fun and was great at teaching us the different aspects of driving and tips on different aspects of cars.

I highly recommend Viking Driving School if you are looking to get your Class A CDL! I had the CLP, and I've never once stepped into a commercial vehicle, let alone a combination vehicle prior to working with them. The Instructors were amazing, patient, and they taught very very well. Maria's pre trip class was excellent and she covers everything that you need to know as well! They also worked with my schedule and helped me with any needs along the way. 5/5, I would recommend!

I'm so happy with Viking. The people are kind, knowledgeable, just awesome. I came 2 months ago to the school knowing nothing and today I passed all my CDL test got my license. Incredible experience. Kasia made the process to get training to pass the CDL exam very simple. She was able to get me the required drug test and medical exam at a reasonable price. She worked with me during the hours I had available. This made it so that I could get rest and practice for my driving exam without stress. Maria really helped me to pass the pre trip inspection.

The State of Illinois has changed the way the test is taken. Remembering all of the required items would be near impossible without Maria pre trip inspection classes. Hearing the items over and over helped me to remember it all. The visuals Maria provided and the stories also helped to remember everything significantly. The classes make everything so familiar so that you are not trying to retain foreign information but information that is familiar.

Understanding why you are remembering this stuff make it easier to remember. Stoyan helped me to reverse like a professional each and every time. Elias basically helped me to be a professional driver as well as part time mechanic. Lol. He went in depth and hands on showing me how parts work and why the parts was necessary. This helped me to pass the pre trip inspection as well. Koshaba helped me to feel like an actual truck driver by telling me what I need to do to pass the test as well as what truckers do in real life and pros and cons of each. Eddie was very patient with me. Eddie would take out time with me and never became aggravated as it is hard to teach an old dog(myself) new tricks.

I really thank Eddie for being so patient with me and I passed the exam because of Eddie patience and hard work. I am confident and now have a head start in the industry because of the teamwork of all the trainers working tirelessly to train me. I am thankful to all of them. Also Max helped me to gain confidence that I would pass the CDL exam! Also, I thank Kasia for the job leads. Thank you Viking Driving School and trainers, I couldn't want better!

They do a great job of training new drivers for the road. Most Glenbrook South students and a few other nearby high school students attend Viking Driving School to attain their permit and eventually learn to drive responsibly and safely.
